I might have failed the nursing care certification.

Yesterday was the interview for my mother's nursing care certification.
My mother's name is Yoshiko.
Normally, for an interview like this,
you have to convey a sense of 'being in trouble' to get support.
But, oh, but.
The result.
──My mother totally acted like she was super energetic!
She answered the date and season immediately.
During the physical function check,
she was lifting her lower legs up and down with ease.
Furthermore,
'I go to the senior center every day.'
'I go shopping by myself.'
'I do these exercises at home.'
And,
for some reason, it turned into something like a health supplement commercial.
No,
today was the day to confirm 'what you can't do'...
I had forgotten that when my late father had his interview,
he also showed off by standing on one leg with ease...
Of course, in reality,
there are canes placed all over the house.
But then, an event occurred that blew that reality away.
During the interview,
a moth (🦋☠️) flew in from somewhere.
At that moment.
My mother.
WHACK!!!
She swatted the flying moth in one strike.
Her movement and the way she stood up were so fast.
Probably at that moment,
she moved the furthest away from getting nursing care certification.
The interviewer must have thought in their heart,
'Doesn't this person not need support at all?'
At the very least, I would be grateful if she could get Support Level 1 certification.
The fact that she couldn't honestly answer about the time she was hospitalized
gives me a bad feeling...
But, I was also a little relieved.
She has become so energetic that I'm worried about the nursing care certification.
Even though it was so hard after she was discharged from the hospital with pneumonia because her muscle strength had dropped.
That is something to be grateful for.
I'm sure one day we'll laugh about it.
'Mom,
you swatted a moth with your bare hands during your interview,' I'll say.
