I picked up trash and a stranger gave me a book | The God of Gratitude
Hello everyone! I'm Goshu, a writer who hates being on a solo assignment so much that I'm fully prepared to quit my job!
For now, as a test run, I started by mentally practicing asking my boss, "Do you have a moment?"
Yes, I'm joking. I might start doing it for real eventually, but for now, it was just a joke. Sorry.
So today, I'm going to talk about how I picked up some trash and a stranger gave me a book. That's the story.
Since this is just a snapshot of my daily life, please read it with a relaxed mindset!
The bento lid that calls for good luck
Today, I had a secret event to attend, so I headed out toward Tokyo Big Sight.
When I got off at the Rinkai Line Kokusai-tenjijo Station and started heading toward the venue, a convenience store bento lid came rolling past me on the wind. Isn't that something?
Normally, I wouldn't have thought anything of it, but for some reason, the idea of "picking up luck," which Shohei Ohtani practices, suddenly popped into my mind. That's what happened.
And then, what do you know?
It wasn't just a bento lid rolling in front of me anymore; it had transformed into
[The bento lid that calls for good luck].
In that moment, my body—no, my cells—reacted...
Was that the feeling? Before I knew it, I found myself dashing after the lucky lid.
And so, I successfully grabbed my luck, and thankfully, I was able to deposit it into a nearby luck-collection box (commonly known as a trash can).
I went to an event venue and a stranger gave me a book
The secret event was hosted by one of my clients who conducts finance-related seminars. The details are, of course, a secret.
I'll omit the details due to information restrictions, but after various things happened, a stranger who was also attending the event took out a book and asked, "Have you ever read this?" It was "The God of Gratitude".
This book was one that my client had recommended in their newsletter, and according to this person, it was so good that they were passionately telling me about it despite us being total strangers, saying, "It was amazing! You absolutely have to read it!!"
So, when I replied that I hadn't read it, they just gave it to me as a gift.
So, that was the story of how I picked up trash and got a book. What did you think?
In conclusion, I haven't read it yet, but since a real billionaire recommends it, you can't go wrong!
Rather than it being about my recommendation, since a real billionaire, who paid tens of millions of yen for venue costs and such to provide a special experience for the participants of this event, recommends it, you can't go wrong!!
*I said it twice because it's important!
However, whether you believe it or not is up to you.
So, the book I recommend is one that a real billionaire recommended, and when I was picking up trash to attend their event, a stranger gave it to me for free, saying, "It's incredibly good!" It is 【The God of Gratitude | Written by Masakazu Kobayashi】.
I might be joking around a bit too much, but there is no book with a more fateful encounter than this one, so I recommend it with full confidence!
※I am going to read it from now on, but I read about halfway through it on 6/24! I also wrote about it in an article, so please read this as well lol
It feels incredibly good, so just as the stranger did for me, I will give it away for free. (Timing TBD)
If there is anyone who says "I want it!", I might just give it as a present to the first two people who comment?
I am eagerly awaiting your applications lolol
That is all, thank you for listening!
