Since last August, a Taro Gomi exhibition event has been held at the "Picture Book and Word Library Micca" in Kameari, Tokyo. It has been extended due to the high number of visitors! Please come and visit.

Note: The following is from the Micca website.
The "World of Picture Books Exhibition," an immersive space experience that feels like wandering into a picture book, is starting again this year at Micca.
This year, it is the world of picture books by author Taro Gomi.
Taro Gomi is a picture book author who has created over 400 picture books to date and captivated people all over the world.
This exhibition features displays based on seven picture book works, including his masterpiece "Where's the Fish?," the "Game Book" series that makes thinking fun, and his latest work "I Am a Boat," which won the 30th Japan Picture Book Award Grand Prize.
The exhibition theme is "This is Good!" – Playing, Deciding, and Living with Taro Gomi –
In Taro Gomi's picture books, there is no "you must do this" or "you must do it well."
Every time you turn the page, you might chuckle or be pleasantly surprised.
What comes through from Gomi's playfulness, which possesses both the freshness of a boy and the thoughtfulness of an adult, is the sense of security that "this is good."
You realize that the attitude of always following your own sensibilities and finding things interesting powerfully supports the act of "living."
From spaces that feel like you have stepped inside a picture book to interactive elements that let you play while you think,
please enjoy a special exhibition experience where you can immerse yourself in the Gomi world with your whole body.
At the venue, there will also be related events based on the picture books, sales of goods and books, and limited-time menus at the Micca Tea Room (cafe).
