[Must-read for note beginners] 35 days → 500 followers achieved | A basic blueprint to keep you on track 📝 Steady and sure ⭕️ No viral hits ❌️

First, please take a look.
First post on May 9, 2025 ↓

Follower count on day 35 ↓ As of June 12, 2025

I never thought my followers would increase this much in such a short period.
But I want to share this.
Because
if there isanything you can copy,I really want you to try it.
If someone reads this article andcan replicate it, I would be super happy.
Also, I am still just taking my first step in this challenge‼️
And if I could do it, probably everyone can‼️
note is easy to enter‼️
It doesn't cost money and the barrier to entry is low‼️
*Of course, there are paid plans.
Introduction
I am truly sorry for being so presumptuous with my title.
Regarding 【how to sell articles,】 there is still a lot I don't know ↙️
My track record is minimal, and I have nothing to boast about.
However, in anything, you need a 【foundation for selling things.】
I don't think it's anything difficult.
【Just a little persistence and patience】
I am just a person who loves to chat and I have no special skills.
Oh. It was a vegetable 🍅
I don't understand anything complicated.
So, I will write this article in a conversational tone to make it as easy to understand as possible.
[Just do it calmly and steadily]

✅️ First, what is note?
Think of note simply as a place where you can express whatever you want to write about in a broad sense.
*Rules exist on note, so please research the details at your own risk.
The way to earn revenue on note is simple: you put a price on the articles you write.
If a reader purchases it, you generate revenue!
This is the main method.
It seems there are also sales commissions involved.
There are other ways to earn revenue, but I haven't done them, so I'm sorry I can't explain them.
note is designed so that you cannot perform reckless following due to its rules, so if you follow people continuously, you will quickly be restricted and, in some cases, become subject to a ban.
Please be careful with follow-backs as well.
Therefore, the increase in followers is inevitably slow.
Also, it seems there is a daily limit for the 'suki' (like) button.
So, honestly, just writing a little bit makes it difficult to get read, and it's quite tough to increase your followers.
By the way, this is probably my 3rd or 4th account.
My current success is built on a series of failures and setbacks.
Now, I will share what I prioritized for this account.

✅ Regarding follower growth
I made my first post on May 9, 2025.
First, here is the content of the article that introduced what this account aims to achieve.
Since I am also running a blog in parallel,
[I posted it with the feeling of 'maybe I should post a greeting on note as well']
I left it alone for quite a while after my first post.
I'm sorry, it was an account I secretly created to support a friend's note, so my motivation was zero, or rather, I wasn't conscious of anything at first.
Then, after about a week, the number of likes and followers suddenly increased, and honestly, I thought, [what is going on?]
From there, once I started paying a little attention to this note account, it reached about 150 followers before I knew it.
Well, there were various types of accounts among them, though.
I think there were many accounts that probably weren't that interested in me, haha.
Around this point, the upward trend in followers stopped.
Hmm, I realized that the 'lucky punch' only lasted until here.
But I wondered, [why did that lucky punch hit?]
That's right, I started to think to myself that maybe the blog design and concept I started to make my friends laugh were actually pretty good.
The flow was that I took one blog I had created myself and converted it into a note version to post.

✅ Theme and character design
The article theme for my account is [emotions and human relationships]
There are so many accounts like this.
So it's really easy to get buried, and it feels like just another common thing.
[So I think you really need to have some kind of unique feature]
Well, and in the end, it's like this is all I can write, or rather, this is the only content that makes my pen move.
Now then,
how many versions of yourself do you have inside you?
Sorry for asking a slightly scary question.
No, let me rephrase that.
[Don't you have various perspectives inside you that go back and forth?]
But can you talk about that all by yourself?
Inside me, there are many perspectives that critique my own actions.
I was afraid that if I talked about that alone, people would think, [where is this person's core?] haha
So I created characters and had them speak for me.
My lovable characters ↓

You can create plenty of characters now using AI, right?
I also realized that by having characters speak, I can objectively blame them and write interesting things.
[I'm not exactly shy, but I think this is a good method for those who are shy or not good at speaking]
And sometimes I write articles where only I speak.
Well, in short, [the thing I fear most is being found boring] so I think I have to throw in some curveballs little by little.
[Humans connect through the temperature gap]
Also, as you can see, my characters are vegetables, and I gave each of them a role and a personality.
For example, Piman-kun, the new employee, is timid,
and Morokoshi-kun, who has overseas work experience, is a capable man, haha It's silly, but [
this is the most fun part to make] So at first, I put an image of a pseudo-vegetable shop or store management next to my account name, like [Heart's General Store].

✅️ Write your profile first and pin it
First, let's create a self-introduction article.
Also, for hashtags, be sure to include
#SelfIntroduction
#NiceToMeetYou
.
If you do that, you'll naturally get 'likes' there at the beginning.
From my experience, note is kind to self-introduction and 'nice to meet you' articles.
That's why, conversely, I think this is super important.
If this is sloppy, I feel like it will just drag on.
I felt that people who come to check out my account tend to 'like' the pinned profile.
If they read that and find it interesting, it leads to them following me, maybe?
And the number of those 'likes' leads to the visualization of account trust.

✅️ Try to write one article a day [Be conscious of it]
I think you need to be a little conscious of this 🌱
But many people think, 'I can't write,' and I do too.
So let's become friends with AI.
I call them [slacker articles] in my head, but
coming up with themes, thinking of titles, or consulting on article structure—it helps a lot with those things.
But it also becomes a battle with
the feeling of restraining your own laziness. Once you start relying on it, AI-sensei will write like water, which could lead to lowering your account's trust. It's quite obvious, haha.
When you feel sorry, just stick your tongue out and apologize, haha.
So it's a fact that what you write yourself, even if it's rough, is what gets read the most.
But definitely become friends with AI!
Also, as another aspect, daily posting is a conscious thing, and the sense that posting low-quality articles randomly every day is meaningless is, of course, a necessary awareness for growing an account.
That's why I also think of it in connection with the expression [
showing presence every day] by using tweets or image posts 📝

✅ Heading image (eyecatch)
At first, I used Canva thumbnails as a reference and tried various things through trial and error.
This is enough, but please be sure to customize it.
Once you get used to it,
[people who know will realize, 'I see this often on Canva.' This gives the impression of being less original]
And rather than putting in small text, I think it's better to focus on impact that can be understood at a glance.
The reason is that the display is relatively small.
Especially when viewing on a smartphone, it's really hard to understand if it's small.
Be conscious of a design that is considerate to smartphone users.
I actually redid all of my note eye-catch images halfway through 🖼️
Until I gained more followers, I used trial and error with things that were eye-catching 🧠
Once I reached a certain number, I created a sense of unity to make it an account that shows who I am 👀
By the way, my current thumbnails are created from scratch using Canva.
[Having your own template is fun and makes things easier]
Why?
Because it reduces the stress of having to create an eye-catch every time.

✅ Regarding icons and banners
Make sure to set them.
Especially with banners, it's easy to think you can do it later, but by including a short, impactful sentence that's stronger than your profile, I believe you can express your [account's personality].
I feel like it works well if you find people whose accounts you think are wonderful and match your own image to theirs.
Regarding recommended sizes for various images
1280 × 670 px
This size is recommended for header images, banners, etc., but I feel that fine-tuning is necessary for banners (including magazines). So, try repeating the process of creating, uploading, and checking to pursue the look you prefer.

✅ Article titles
For example, adding things like
[Must-read for life lost souls]
[A prescription to lighten your heart]
to the beginning tended to increase PV slightly.
In short, it's about the effort of including wording that imagines [who you want to read it].
A slightly cheesy phrasing might be just right.
That's how I felt.
Make them read with the title. Let them know the content.
note has a lot of posts and the impression is that people scroll a lot, so I think you have to make a strong impression where it counts to attract them.
So, be conscious of getting them to read the title first🔥

✅ Value interaction
Don't follow people randomly out of curiosity.
Don't mass-produce likes or comments out of curiosity.
※ It seems this can lead to a ban in some cases.
This is really not okay.
It doesn't lead to anything.
Be careful, be very careful.
On top of that, be active with likes and follows.
Still, I feel like followers won't increase unless you basically take action yourself.
You're not a hugecelebrityor something, right?
That's different for such people, but
【If you're a nobody, you have to sell yourself or it won't work】
This is a bit harsh, but I really think so.
Start the fire yourself🔥

✅ Find people with the same synchronization/theme via article search
First, if you search for articles with the word self-introduction, many people with [Nice to meet you / Self-introduction] will appear.
Pay attention to that 👀
They are, so to speak, your peers,so I feel that sending a like to people you are interested in can promote wonderful interaction.
If the other person reacts, you'll get a like back.
And then you become friends in a follow/follower relationship!
Why → Interaction lasts longer with people who have the same perspective.
Think about it by putting yourself in their shoes.
✅ Utilize magazines
There is a feature that allows you to compile articles you are interested in into a magazine.
It makes me really happy when I get a notification that it's been added to a magazine.
What does that mean?
It's definitely something that makes others happy too‼️
So, please add articles you like to your own magazine too 👀
I think a magazine compiling self-introductions iseasy to start with,so I'm doing that too.
[The feeling of 'that person added me to their magazine' takes interaction to the next level]

✅ Regarding joint magazines
Please understand what I just explained as a [personal magazine].
What is a collaborative magazine?
As the name suggests, it is a [magazine managed jointly by fellow creators].
The benefit of this is that creators can interact with each other even more.
Of course, you can add your own articles as well as articles written by others here.
This means you won't miss articles from fellow creators, and you can also check out articles that your fellow creators are interested in.🌱
I feel that it promotes interaction with a sense of [a friend of a friend is a friend]. Of course, it also has a significant impact on your follower count, so it's a tool you should use.
However, this magazine also needs a certain concept, and you must add articles that fit it.
For example, adding a [bread-making article] to a [fishing enthusiast magazine] is a no-go.
Can you imagine that?
Actively add articles from other creators you are interested in to your collaborative magazine!
Why? Because if you are interested in them, it's a chance for them to be interested in you too.
Important points for collaborative magazines
If your note email notification settings are turned off, you might not receive invitations from other creators even if they send them. So, first, please make sure to check that they are turned on.
・Check for invitations from creators
Another issue observed was that one's own account would not appear to the other party in the invitation field. In that case, I believe contacting note support usually resolves it in 1-2 days.

✅️ Utilizing the tweet function
Did you know?
note also has a tweet function.
If you utilize this, you can express what kind of person you are in short sentences.
So let's make full use of this too.
I have the impression that many people will read short sentences even if they don't read the full article.
Also, since you can post images, I used to enjoy posting images with short text created in Canva. *Currently deleted
Since there are changes to functions, etc., please check the note functions yourself each time. There have been changes to posting functions such as tweets.
[Notice]
Due to the integration of posting formats, users who registered on or after May 29th will only see the integrated posting format from the start, so posting formats such as "audio" and "tweets" will not be displayed and cannot be used.
Furthermore, even for users who registered before May 29th, if they have not used posting formats such as "audio" or "tweets" recently, they will not be displayed and cannot be used.
For details, please check "Regarding the integration of posting formats".

✅️ Regarding note Premium [Monthly subscription]
It costs 500 yen per month.
You can find out what kind of functions it has by searching for [note Premium], so please check for yourself.
I have been a member since June 15, 2024.
I will post information here about what I find convenient, including my experience using it.
What I find very useful so far is
・Post scheduling
What this is, as the name suggests, is a feature that allows you to schedule posts to be published automatically. This has freed me from the stress of having to post, so I am now in a state where I can write stock articles one after another.
・Comment-off feature
Whether or not to use the comment-off feature. It is true that I sometimes feel a bit hesitant about it.
I use the comment-off feature for my [paid articles].
Why? → Because I want my paid articles to be completed with only my own words. I don't want readers to be swayed by other people's comments; I want them to read my article honestly and form their own impressions.
✅️ Utilizing Threads
I realized that my follower count wasn't increasing around the 150 mark, so I joined Threads. It is a social media platform that feels like interacting through text on Instagram.
I have the impression that there are more peaceful and kind people here than on X.I have been searching for and befriending only people who use note here. By the way, I made my first post here on
May 27, 2025. At the moment, I have about 300 followers. However, I feel that currently, my
posts are falling completely flat
. I am not getting any attention at all, but I am learning through experience and continuing to post tweets without giving up. And I make sure to value the people who interact with me.
Once I started interacting on Threads, my note followers increased mysteriously.
It feels like an interaction between note and Threads. That is how I feel. But I think people with high antennas were probably doing this long before me, and I am late to the trend. It is a bit cheeky for me to say this now.
But since my note followers actually increased because of this, I think it is definitely reproducible.

✅️ Who note is suitable for
I have spent a year teaching myself YouTube, video editing, Canva, blogging (WordPress design), Mercari, and stocks. That is all being put to use in my current
note activities.
I think with a blank look on my face, 'Oh, it's all connected.'
Well, to put it roughly, what I want to say here is
[After trying everything, I found that note was the right fit for me]. You never know until you try everything, and my personality is such that my interests wander here and there, so I can't help it. But I realized that I like
writing
, reading, and interacting. There are things you don't notice until you try them. I don't find it interesting to edit videos alone, but I think it is interesting to make videos while imagining that the people I interact with will find them interesting. When I look at stock prices, I get dizzy immediately. It is not for me.
When I use Mercari, I immediately try to lower the price to sell. It is not for me.
I had many golf clubs that ended up selling for just the cost of shipping.
I don't get dizzy watching the emotional fluctuations of people who write and read. It is for me.
Also, a friend of mine just told me, 'This is for you.' If you look at yourself comprehensively, including these things, and think,
'I get it!', then it might be for you.
Even if you don't think it's for you, why not try it? It might be for you.

✅️ Regarding achieving 0→1 (Added on June 30, 2025)
Finally, on June 27, 2025!
I posted a paid article (500 yen) and it was purchased 5 times in 3 days.
What I valued before posting the paid article
・Focus entirely on posting free articles to increase readers.
If I had posted a paid article from the beginning, no one would have bought it.
Thinking that, I thoroughly focused on PV counts and interacting with followers.
To use an analogy, it's like crouching down as much as possible to prepare for a big jump.
・Post casual articles regularly so people get to know your personality
I post about what I'm thinking or what happens in my daily life as casual articles.
I feel that this allows people who don't know me to think, 'Oh, this is what this person is like,' and feel a sense of familiarity.
When we buy someone's article, we probably have at least some emotional connection to them. I felt that by keeping this in mind, I naturally developed a mindset of being closer to my readers.
・Try tweeting about your mindset before releasing a paid article
・Before releasing a paid article
【Post an article summarizing the thoughts behind why you are releasing a paid article】
My gut feeling from having people pick up my paid articles is that, rather than just useful information, a key feature of note might be the strong impression of 'I think I'll pay for this person's article'.
Of course, 'writing useful information for someone with all your might and sincerity' is a major prerequisite.
But I feel that readers won't purchase just based on that alone.
So what is it then?
It's the feeling that 'paid articles are established on top of close interaction'.
I was truly moved when a reader who purchased my article contacted me saying, 'I wanted to buy it because it was your article, Gomashiso-san.' I was incredibly happy.
That's why I feel that by expanding this feeling and improving the quality of interaction, things are more likely to go well.

✅ Others
This is just a hunch.
It might be a common thing, but
I've recently started including the image below at the end of my articles.

It seems to lower the hurdle for getting comments, and interactions there are gradually increasing.
I feel that if you can show your personality here too, people with similar values will gather.
Also, always include a 【Table of Contents】 at the very beginning of the article.
In conclusion
I apologize for the somewhat messy and scattered content.
I wanted to convey the tone, so I apologize if it was difficult to read.
If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment.
Also, I cannot write an article titled [How I made this much profit] because I don't have that much of a track record, but I can write about [building a foundation].
Isn't it only after building this foundation that your valuable products will be purchased for the first time?
Also, I believe that in order to earn revenue on note—in other words, to have your articles purchased—quality and timing are key.
No matter how many followers you have, it is meaningless if they are all [people who are not interested in you].
Every time my followers increase, my [motivation to write skyrockets]. Human motivation is just like that. Is it just me? lol
I am not in a position to say this, having not sold a single thing, but I hope this is at least a little helpful to everyone.
Actually, I just [want everyone to do note].
Yes, there goes my selfishness.
As someone who is still learning about [note], please let me work hard together with you all! Thank you for your support!
Let's take on the note challenge 🔥 Let's go hunting 🔥
