A Little Idol and a Big Bottom
On my way home from university.
I suddenly thought I'd try walking without looking at my smartphone.
Then, just after I started walking
I heard a voice say, "Thanks for the fan service!" It was probably a boy around elementary school age.
I wonder what that was. I'm curious. What could be happening inside this park? But I couldn't see well, so I started walking again.
Then, I heard "Thanks for the fan service!" again.
Is it even possible to run into two idols on a single straight road in just one minute? Is this Tokyo Girls Collection? I can picture Saiki Pointy in my mind making a face like he's about to quip, "CANMAKE TOKYO!"
I was too curious to let it go, so I looked toward the voice and saw a little girl dancing and her father.
Based on the voice, it was that kid from before!
I don't know the circumstances, but it looked like the girl was showing off her dance and a signature pose to the boy. Her father was watching happily beside them. In my heart, I was making a face like this ( ◜ω◝ ).
And at the end, the father said happily, "Thanks for the fan service!" So it was you!
I was thinking, maybe this is what it's like when an Aikatsu dance teacher becomes a dad.
As I walked further, I saw two brown lumps of a size I'd never seen before moving along. It took me a moment to realize they were a dog's bottom.
It was such an incredibly huge bottom that I'm frustrated I can't share this surprise with anyone. It's a shame.
It was such a pretty and magnificent little butt.
And it had a black cross on it, like in a picture book.
I feel like there was a song that went something like, "Fools look at a pig's butt~♩," but seeing that actual anus right there was a moment of pure surprise and joy.
I felt like I'd seen something auspicious, so I made a wish on my own.
After I got home, I saw an Instagram reel where some grandmother said:
"It's not that you don't have enough happiness, it's just that you haven't noticed it."
It hit me that just like I hadn't noticed the road overflowing with cuteness, there were things right nearby that I hadn't been noticing. Maybe my heart had been tense.
So, to relax both my heart and body, I did something rare and drew a bath, even adding bath salts.
I used something called 'Shobu-no-yu' (iris bath), and it smelled better than anything I've ever used before. I want to give the me from 30 minutes ago who cleaned the tub an award for genius.
Thank you to the little girl who gave fan service, the grandmother on Instagram, and the dog with the cute butt.
