I couldn't sleep out of frustration after reading 'The Murder of Her' (No Spoilers)
Good evening🌙
This is Hana🌼
Since it's the season for reading, I'm writing a spoiler-free book review😀
My husband recommended Keigo Higashino's 'The Murder of Her' to me, saying, 'It's interesting, you should give it a try!'📚️
I often read Keigo Higashino's works, but this was my first time reading one where the reader has to find the answer themselves, so I was a little nervous💓
As I read on, scenes where I thought, 'Oh, this might be a hint,' started to appear here and there, and I felt just like a detective🕵️♀️
However, even after finishing it, I couldn't reach the point where I was convinced, 'This person is the culprit!'...
It's frustrating, but I enjoyed it, including that lingering feeling of uncertainty😎
It's not the type of novel where the culprit is clearly revealed at the end, so preferences might vary from person to person💡
But for me, it was a wonderful time being able to discuss it with my husband afterward, saying, 'I wonder what that was about?'😄
Finally,
I'm not the type to end it here. I declare my revenge with 'I Killed Him' someday — I will demonstrate my true potential as a detective🕵️♀️ (in spirit)💪
