An Ordinary Day

~Wednesday that feels like Thursday~

This week, the days feel so long...
I haven't even been able to go to yoga lately.
The exhaustion after work is just unreal.
How is it that I get more tired when I'm not busy?

On such a slightly tiring Wednesday morning.
When I arrive at work at 8:00, the usual securities firm is there to meet with the president.

Not again...
The president seems to enjoy talking about the economy, but for me, it's just an early morning event.

Actually, it's crazy that I'm even here at 8:00 when work starts at 8:30.
Well, many people in our company show up from 7:30, though.
(I'll talk about this another time)

Cleaning before work starts.
There are assigned tasks, but I just clear my mind and focus while cleaning.

The sound of Kappa throwing a stapler.
What? Are there really that many projects that require a stapler?
That's how much they're clicking away every single day.

The securities guy leaves.
The bank guy shows up as he leaves.
As always, the only thing that smells around the president is money.

Today I'm helping out another department.
A precious day where I can get away from Uho-senmu and Kappa.
...or so I thought, but the 'What-should-I-do Lady' was there.

She's still going strong today.
Repeating 'What should I do?' on an infinite loop.

How should I know? 😑

“Executive Uho was making emails while saying 'suuuuu' again today.”

What is with that sound effect?

Past 14:00

When I got back, I was asked to do a task I'd never seen before.

Wait...
this is the work Kappa used to do.

But I absolutely don't want to ask them directly. I don't even want to talk to them.
That's it, I'll ask the part-timer😏
(She is also Kappa's assistant)

She taught me right away, and I quickly created a procedure manual.
Alright, now I never have to ask Kappa again👍

Two more hours to go.
My concentration broke, so I took my phone and headed to the restroom.
...But with this extreme heat, the restroom is a tropical zone too.

I retreated immediately.

When I returned to the office, it was another storm of noise.

Bang! Slam!
Ugh~

My sigh resonates with it too.

[Postscript] If it ends badly, everything turns into a nightmare

Just before closing time, a call came in for Executive Director Uho from a certain government office.
They said, "We have questions regarding the survey form you submitted."

Naturally, I pretended not to be in.

When I asked, "What is this regarding?"

"It's going to be long, is that alright?"

……Is that a provocation?

In the end, they said, "I'll call again tomorrow."

……The worst.

When I told Executive Director Uho,

"Ugh, I don't like long things."

That's my line!

This is seriously too exhausting……
