Self-Introduction

Nice to meet you. My name is Toru Oka.
First, a brief self-introduction.

I am from Chiba City and currently live in Inagawa Town, Hyogo Prefecture.
I am a salaryman working shifts at a telecommunications company.

On my days off during the week, I am active with [Inagawa Base] to help revitalize the local community.
I value local connections and enjoy doing fun things♪

I learned the electronic organ from childhood, played percussion and then Tuba in my elementary school fife and drum corps, and discovered the Trombone in my high school brass band.
Currently, I am taking lessons and studying percussion instruments♬

I decided to try percussion because when I was playing in a Latin big band, I simply thought it looked fun♬
Also, unlike the Trombone or electronic organ, it is an instrument without a musical scale,
so I wondered how I could get involved with music through it.

I believe that when I connect with people first, and those connections between people create further chemical reactions, the fun places and events where people gather will lead to the revitalization of the region.

In my local activities, there are times when members who love music gather to perform. Since I love music, I would like to continue my activities through music in the future.

What I would like to work on in the future is to film videos at events and other occasions, deliver the performances of those playing to as many people as possible, and support the excitement of musical activities♬
