I had Chappy critique my illustrations.

1. Record of Lodoss War

This piece was finished with monochrome hatching to match the atmosphere of Record of Lodoss War.
I assigned roles to the man and woman, creating contrasts between straight and curved lines, black and white, and stillness and motion.
The composition was built from shapes (masses) and adjusted to create a pleasing form to look at.

Now, I wonder if the artist's intent was actually conveyed ❓

2. Musicare

Actually, this piece was designed with the same concept as the Lodoss illustration.
The composition, the placement of black, the roles of the man and woman, etc... but the finishing method is completely different.
I finished it in a pop poster style to match the atmosphere of Musicare.

3. Hell Screen

The design philosophy for this picture is also the same as the two works above.
Or rather, I follow roughly the same process whenever I draw an illustration.

I used the Mud Hand and the human spirit to guide the viewer's gaze toward Riri-chan, and placed Miyake-san as a static motif to ensure that gaze doesn't wander off. By having him handle the black, he acts as a stopper, and the reflected gaze passes through the circular title to return to Riri-chan, creating a circulation of the gaze... that's the idea.

The only thing that's a shame is that the Chiporon Barbie has become completely noise 💧

4. Monyalisa

This is my best work from recent times, the so-called "Monyalisa," a drawing of Mikake, the protagonist of Uki-Kari by 9244-shi.

For those who don't know, I didn't give it this title out of self-praise; 9244-san named it with the highest of compliments.
