Crying, laughing, and before I knew it, 100 days. My gratitude for the note marathon that won over the Rakuten marathon.
Maybe I should just quit...
I wonder how many nights I've spent thinking that.
Still, today, I press the post button for the 100th day.
At the beginning of November,
"Is there anyone who would even read my articles?"
I started note while holding onto that anxiety.
I was fumbling through how to post,
and I was just desperate to write something every single day.
An anxious November. Yet, I kept knocking on the door.
The first month was honestly scary.
"Is what I'm sharing wrong?"
"Am I making people feel uncomfortable by writing things like this?"
Holding onto those thoughts,
I posted while feeling my way through.
One person, then the next day two, then three...
the number of people reading my work grew.
And whenever I read articles by creators I was interested in,
I would actively leave comments for creators whose writing and worldview I liked.
The joy I felt when I received a reply was like receiving a love letter.
It was the moment I realized that
there are real people on the other side of the screen. I thought sharing was something you did alone, but I was wrong.
Behind the writing, there is a warm heart.
Meeting that warmth was a huge step for me.
December, learning the joy of nurturing a note
Entering December, I participated in projects, and my interactions expanded little by little.
The feeling of my own note growing bit by bit.
Thoughts that couldn't fit into one article became a series.
I wrote about my days with my son, my worries, and my anxieties just as they were.
It doesn't have to be perfect.
It doesn't have to be cool.
That writing about my true self
could be this much fun.
note changed from a place to post to a place to nurture.
January, a time of deepening while wavering
January started with me falling ill.
While spending the New Year in bed,
I felt the warmth of my family once again.
I want to write even if I have to push myself.
That is how much note
had become a part of my body.
But at the same time,
I also felt lost, wondering, "Is it okay to keep writing about this theme?"
I took consultations,
joined memberships...
The desire to deepen my understanding was overflowing.
And then I encountered a Kindle book.
I re-examined my AC (Adult Child) tendencies,
and it made me realize that "I was actually happy."
An article where I seriously worried about friendships.
An article about how to relax myself.
And an article where I wrote down my future resolutions.
Even while wavering, everything is connected to who I am now.
And today.
100 days of daily posting, completed.
And here, I'd like to share a little bit about the results of continuing for 100 days.
💡 I open my smartphone to shop at the Rakuten marathon, but before I know it, I've opened note, and I end up buying nothing.
💡 My heart rate goes up more from the notification "So-and-so commented" than after I press the post button. I take a breath before opening it.
💡 Are there any typos? Did I use weird line breaks?
No, I checked just now, right? ...But one more time. I re-read it 5 times right after publishing.
💡 Right after being treated coldly by my son at home, I am saved by warm comments on note. Everyone, thank you for healing me!!
I chose the note marathon
over the Rakuten marathon.
…It is completely a swamp.
But this swamp was a warm one.
And these 100 days are not just a number.
It was also the story of how I, who was bound by the past, started living in the "now" again.
To those who gently pressed the like button.
To those who supported me with comments.
To everyone who read my posts.
I could not have made it this far on my own.
Thank you so, so much!!
From now on, I will share not only my past
but also my "now" and my "future."
While wavering,
while struggling,
this is my fresh start living with my family.
Thank you for supporting me
for 100 days✨✨
And I look forward to your continued support.
And actually, there is one more important resolution.
Please let me talk about it in tomorrow's article.
And in the article after that,
I plan to write about my feelings for someone I really need to tell.
My story doesn't end at 100 days.
This is where the real start begins.
I tried to sound cool at the end, sorry. lol
