To the leader who has become a little tired of trying so hard
"You worked hard again today."
You want to end the day by being kind to yourself like this, don't you?
With what kind of feelings do you end your day?
Even though you work hard every day,
do you ever think that your efforts are still not enough,
that the problem isn't solved because you aren't trying hard enough,
or that if you just tried a little harder, things would work out?
Is your effort really not enough?
Effort never betrays you, effort bears fruit, effort opens up the future—effort is essential for achieving goals.
On the other hand,
the idea that "if you try hard enough, things will work out"
is something we know
doesn't necessarily align with the reality of life, right?
Life is full of things that don't work out no matter how hard you try; in fact, that might be the case more often than not.
Be careful of the supremacy of effort
However, when we keep trying hard,
we often, before we know it,
fall into the mindset of the supremacy of effort, believing that "if you try hard enough, things will work out."
Once you fall into the mindset of the supremacy of effort,
once you clear one goal, the next higher goal comes into view,
and just when you think you've set a goal, the next one appears.
When we keep trying hard endlessly, we tend to focus too much on the future.
We tend to lose the ability to cherish the very moment we are working hard in right now.
And,
even if you clear goal after goal, the next goal and the one after that appear, and you become exhausted by the effort that never ends no matter how much you do.
If you have become a little tired of trying so hard
Let's fully appreciate what you have worked hard to achieve up to this point.
Why not close your eyes for a moment to goals that are too high or too far away, and focus your vision on what is close to you?
Then,
the world that had become too expansive will shrink,
what you were carrying will become a manageable size, and you will feel much more at ease.
If you'd like, please give it a try. ^^
