Happy Writing Marathon Prompt #62 | What is something you've been meaning to do 'someday' for years?
(888 characters)
Something I've been meaning to do 'someday' for years is...
A 'live reunion concert' ♬
During my university days, I wrote over 100 original songs with my partner, making full use of the guitar, keyboard, ocarina, recorder, tambourine, kazoo, and more 😆
At school, we performed at school festivals and graduation ceremonies 🎓
Outside of school, we performed on the streets, at live houses, the Snow Festival venue, music store live studios, snack bars, and more 🎤
It was the most fun university life ever ✨
However, it wouldn't have been fun at all if I were doing it alone...
The reason it was so fun was not only because of my partner,
but because we had friends who listened to our music!
I truly believe it was all thanks to my seminar classmates, our professors, and everyone at the university 😊
I want to share a fun time with all of you again!!
That is the thought behind my plan to rent a live venue and hold a reunion concert.
I had intended to do it the year I returned from my overseas assignment in Europe, but
in the year I returned,
I was hit by the quadruple punch of full-time work, housework, childcare, and my children's extracurricular activities,
and my partner was also living a super busy life,
so, as an excuse, I just couldn't find the time 😅
I am currently living abroad for the second time, but
I have been granted a temporary return home next year, so
I am seriously thinking that I would love to make it happen
during my temporary return 🎸
I happen to be unemployed right now, so I have the time to plan it,
so perhaps now is the only time!
Securing a venue and dates,
thinking about the setlist for the concert,
practicing the guitar I'm not very good at,
there will be plenty to do, right!?
Even so, I am convinced that this project will be fun for us,
and that everyone else will enjoy it too!!
It's going to be so much fun!! I'm so excited ☺️☺️
Writing it down makes the possibility of it coming true much higher, so
I decided to take the plunge and write it down 😆
