The final PIS-LAB ski lesson of the season.
PIS-LAB ski lesson [October 4th (Sat) - 5th (Sun)]
report.
With the Kagura summer slope closing this weekend,
in the blink of an eye, it has become the final PIS-LAB ski lesson of the season.
Almost everyone who worked hard this season gathered together!
It closed with a lively two days.

And, for the first time in a while, the Fumi group is back💪
The intermediate women's team, who had been taking lessons in Hase-sensei's group this summer,
returned to the Fumi group at the end~~~💕
Everyone, you have improved so much since I last saw you!
Your positions, in particular, have gotten better~🙌

Entering October, the temperature has become lower compared to the summer,
so there were times when the PIS-LAB mat was slightly more slippery and harder to get an edge on.
Since PIS-LAB mats are made of plastic, the feeling changes slightly as they become softer or harder depending on the temperature.
When they get hard, the skis tend to slide...😰
Especially on the first day, many people struggled because they were putting too much tension in their ankles.
This is the same on snow.
Even though I thought that after practicing, the leg pressure and feeling had improved, when I went to a difficult situation, I still couldn't ski well~~
This is because when you get nervous or anxious in a difficult situation, you cannot control your leg pressure well.
It is not that what you practiced so hard during the summer season was a waste,
but gradually being able to perform the movements you have learned in more difficult places... is also a step up toward improvement.
First, being able to perform good movements on a slope where you can ski with peace of mind.
This is the most important thing first.
And then, let's overcome the situations one by one.
Difficult situations are not just off-piste.
Even on the slopes, the situation changes every day
due to the day's temperature, weather, and temperature changes.
If you can stop being swayed by those changes and instead start to enjoy them,
the joy of skiing will be greater than ever before.
What you practiced during the summer season is firmly ingrained in you, so
let's step up by trying it out in the actual winter, on natural snow.

Thank you very much for participating this time as well.
The only summer ski lessons remaining are the Grass Ski lessons.
Since it is now a season where it is easy to imagine winter,
let's enjoy the final summer skiing.

I was able to meet the frog at the end!
Thank you for reading until the end today as well!
