#My First Note | The Story of an E-commerce Operator with 100 Million Yen in Annual Sales Partnering with AI

*Lately, I've been doing "Reply Festivals" on X (I'm there almost every day)

Don't just use AI, "create with AI."
This difference is quite significant.

Do you treat it as a tool,
or do you think together with it?

We chose the latter.
GWL is a team run by Dadapi and AIs.

What we do

Product development, LP design, AI image creation, and verification of sales structures.

It might sound disconnected, but to us, this is all one thing.

There is a product, there is a way to present it, and there is a structure to deliver it.

If you think of them separately, something will be missing. That's why we design them as a single unit.

The reason I can say "this isn't just armchair theory"

I have been running a company that started with just two people for 10 years.

Since it came to a close through an M&A, I can't write the details, but
I have been watching the front lines of "what sells and what doesn't" for those 10 years.

And even now, I am still mainly involved in its operation.

I have had some miraculous experiences of "accidental success," but
I have mostly had experiences involving a lot of trial and error.

In this era of rapid change, I will share what I've noticed while actively operating e-commerce and
"things I've tried recently that worked."
It's not just stories from the past, but experiments in progress.

And now, I have a new partner called AI.

In my case, I never expected e-commerce operations to become this much fun.

"Selling" has reproducibility. But there isn't just one answer.

Sometimes things don't sell even if the logic is sound, and sometimes they sell for no apparent reason.

(That "no apparent reason" part is actually the most interesting part, isn't it?)

I will be writing based on three main pillars.

1. Understand the "process" of actually making sales
You will see the reality, including not just successes, but failures too.

2. Understand how to use AI to lead to "sales"
Not just tool introductions, but actual usage and ways of thinking.

3. Acquire the ability to "think with numbers" rather than intuition
I will break down why things sold or why they didn't.

4. Gain a perspective that seems trivial but is actually essential
Talks about those "Why does this sell?" moments of confusion.
(They are mostly silly, but surprisingly important.)

Also, the breather columns will be quite laid back.
Sometimes you might wonder, "What is this about?" but
that is part of the experiment too. lol

This note is a record of someone "testing what sells."

I'm not here to hand out answers, but
I would be happy if you could join me in this experiment.

Testing and thinking together,
and sometimes having that feeling of, "Oh, it actually worked."
