📦 What is "TOH"?
An experiential event where you can "steal" all the items if you don't make a sound within the time limit. The venue is equipped with 200 high-sensitivity microphones owned by TBS Radio, and the thrilling rule is that even the slightest noise will result in immediate ejection.
💚 Review by Sakipon
I'm Sakipon, a pin comedian who loves puzzle solving!
I was invited by Azu-nee to participate in "TOH"!
You can steal all the items if you don't make a sound...is that so? That such a thing is allowed! How exciting! I want books, I want clothes, and I want to steal retro toys too! I was full of motivation and went to steal! (Legally)
The result was failure. There was a bell secretly attached to the item Azu-nee took, and it rang! Are you determined not to let us steal anything!

Even if the bell hadn't rung, more than half the time had already passed by the time I finally reached the place where the book I wanted was, so I definitely wouldn't have been able to make it back...!
I was too cautious about not making a sound...!
I guess I'm just not cut out for doing bad things...!! (;o;)
Event details you want to know and advice for those who will challenge it from now on are summarized by Azu-nee, so check below!
If it's held again next year, I will definitely try again...!!!
So frustrating~~~~!!!!!

💜 Review by Azusa
I'm Azusa, an ordinary person with many hobbies.
I participated in "TOH" with Sakipon!
I couldn't participate when it was held last year, so I was determined that if a second round was held, I would definitely participate. I successfully secured tickets for the first day of the event and headed to TBS Akasaka BLITZ Studio!

For the 13:30 performance ticket, when I arrived in front of the event venue around 13:00, I was told to wait in the waiting line outside the venue (outdoors) until 13:30. Time passed while we talked about the challenges we noticed during our simulation the previous night, and we were guided into the venue around 13:30.

Even while waiting in line inside the venue, the staff provided instructions on the rules.
・The time limit is 60 seconds (whether alone or in a group, it's 60 seconds total).
・If you steal an item and return to the starting point within the time limit, you succeed.
・If the microphone picks up any sound you make, you are disqualified (immediate exit).
・You can steal up to a maximum of 3 items per person.
・For 2-4 person tickets, individual challenges are not allowed, joint responsibility
(If even one person is disqualified, everyone is disqualified simultaneously. If someone is disqualified, any challenger who had already returned to the goal at that point is considered successful.)
Roughly speaking, that was the gist of it.
And so, to commit the theft, we headed to the venue where the shops were lined up!

・The starting point is at the foot of the bridge.
・The 60-second time limit includes the time to cross the bridge back and forth.
・After crossing the bridge, from the right, there are shops for "Books," "Sundries," "Noodles," "Toys," and "Sleep."
・It's quite spacious.
As for my own equipment:
・Before the challenge, you can leave your belongings at the foot of the bridge, which is the starting point (no baskets or similar provided).
・You are allowed to take off your shoes.(It seems all the successful participants took off their shoes.)
Therefore, I think it's best to be as light as possible and remove any accessories that might make noise.
Also, you cannot leave until everyone participating in that session has finished.
(For the 13:30 ticket, no matter what your turn is, you cannot leave until 14:00.)
So, while someone is challenging, you watch over them.
It seems the microphone might pick up sounds from those watching, so you need to watch while holding your breath.
(In the unlikely event that the microphone picks up sound from a watcher and the challenger is disqualified, it seems the staff may allow the challenger to try again at their discretion.)
And then, the time for the challenge arrived!
Since we had lined up at the very front of the waiting line, we ended up being the first to challenge...
[Azusa's Perspective]
I crossed the bridge, aimed for the sundries shop, and headed to the right.
However, the floor creaked quite a bit, so I couldn't move forward easily.
By the time I finally entered the sundries shop, there was about 17 seconds left
. When I impulsively grabbed a cap that was in front of me, the bell attached to the cap rang, and I was disqualified!
A bell!? Are there bells attached to things like that~~!!

...And so, unfortunately, I ended up stealing nothing and finished.
Sakipon, I'm so sorry!!
I slunk back to the starting point...
From here on, it was just my turn to watch the other challengers!
・Including same-day ticket participants, there were nearly 30 challengers.
・There were about 7 solo participants? Almost everyone else was challenging in groups of 2 or more.
・Out of nearly 30 people, only 3 succeeded in stealing.
・All successful participants chose "Books."
・The microphone reacts to even very small sounds (like floor creaking).
・If a bell rings, you are definitely disqualified.
...That was the general impression.
I'd love to see how the people who stole things other than "Books" did it...!
After everyone finished, there was a photo session for about 2 minutes.
I'm leaving these photos in the hope that they might be helpful for those participating in the future.
"Books"

A shop lined with old books.
Be careful, as there is a can hanging at the entrance!
Although it didn't make it into the photo, there is a stack of books outside to the right of the shop.
Out of the 3 successful participants this time, 2 of them stole this stack of books.
"Sundries"

A shop lined with hoodies, T-shirts, and caps.
The floor from the "Books" shop to the "Sundries" shop creaks...!
I got the impression that many people were disqualified here.
"Noodles"

A Baby Star Ramen shop.
It is the furthest from the starting point.
Just going back and forth within 60 seconds seems quite difficult...
They said it was okay to steal the whole cardboard box.
"Toys"

A shop lined with nostalgic toys and video tapes.
There are also items lined up outside the shop.

Lots of video tapes.
At a glance, some seem to have bells attached, while others don't seem to...?(Please check for yourself)
"Sleep"

A shop lined with high-value items.
Be careful, as there are bells on the doors too.

On the table to the right as you enter the shop, there are plastic water bottles and old books. I didn't see any bells.

The mattresses and pillows have multiple bells attached to them, so be careful. There are also many microphones. I believe everyone who was disqualified in the "Sleep" room was because a bell rang.

The items hanging in the closet at the back of the shop also had many bells attached to them.
As for the Brain Sleep eye masks and tablets, I couldn't even confirm where they were.
[Summary]
・Tickets for two or more people do not allow for individual attempts. I didn't feel any benefit other than the ticket being slightly cheaper and the ability to cooperate with others to steal larger items. If I were to try again, I wouldchoose a 1-person ticket.
・The order in which you line up in the waiting queue outside the venue becomes the order of your attempt, so those who go later seem to have more time to think about strategies...
・The challenge starts once you step onto the bridge. Once it starts, an announcement plays (I think it was something like "Please be quiet..."), andthe time limit does not count while the announcement is playing, so it might be best to advance as far as possible on the bridge during that time.
(I realized this technique by watching other challengers, so indeed, going later might be more advantageous...)
・The 60-second time limit includes the time to walk across the bridge and back, so it's quite short! There's no time to hesitate!
・"Stealing what you want to steal" is definitely the most fun, but the shop you choose changes depending on whether you think "I absolutely want to steal this" or "I want to steal something big even if I take a risk." I regret that my choice this time was half-hearted.
In the session I participated in, the success rate was about 10%.
It was considered good if you could last until the time limit ran out, and it was not uncommon for people to be disqualified within seconds of starting due to the sound of the floor creaking.
Honestly,"it was quite tough" was my impression.
Even if I was disqualified, I wanted to see someone succeed!
During other challengers' attempts, you absolutely cannot make a sound, so you can only pray for their success silently in your heart...
It was a space with a heavy atmosphere.
So, while it was an interesting event, I don't think it was a "fun" event....
For me, the tension took over.
(Since it was a 2-person ticket, that made it even more so...)
For those participating from now on, good luck stealing!
I'm praying for your success!
For those who succeeded, please teach me your strategy!
I will continue to post reviews of events I participate in!
Look forward to it!
