【Daily Life at the Music Shop: A Burnt SG, Revived🔥】

Honestly, when it was brought in,
I thought, "This might be tough..."

It was a Greco SG.

The tuning pegs were melted and deformed.
The headstock was scorched and looked like charcoal.
The fretboard had peeled off due to the heat and was twisted and wavy.

It had sustained significant damage.

Even so, I judged that the neck and body
were still alive.

"Since it's come this far, I want to bring it back to life."

With that thought, I started the restoration🔧

First, the fretboard that had come off.
I added moisture to it, slowly straightened it out,
and used a press to return it to a flat state.

I ordered the missing parts.
I glued the fretboard back on, and while checking the condition of the neck,
I leveled the frets.

Finally, I repaired the control system
and strung it up...

And then—

The moment it made a sound.

I realized this guitar
wasn't finished yet.

Even if it's tattered,
even if it's burnt,
even if it's been given up on,

a guitar
can truly come back to life🎸

"Is it beyond saving...?"
