[Stocks/FX] Institutional Investors Are Not Always Selling in a Bear Market [Explained by a Pro]
The sharp-tongued sister of Stocks/FX here♪(▶Twitter )
The person behind the sister worked as a fund manager (I'm a former institutional investor), and now I live independently as a stock investor♪

This week's activity log♪
This week's main topic: Institutional investors are not always selling in a bear market [Explained by a Pro]
First, this week's activity log♪
I wrote commentary on the Nikkei Average every day this week♪
While stock news across Japan was saying "The Nikkei Average will crash, it's dangerous," I
『suggested while watching the trends of futures and options daily that "If the Nikkei's decline continues, it will be down to 27,000 yen, but there is a higher possibility it will rise above 28,500 yen after February 1st," and I was right』(Links▶"January 29th analysis" & "February 1st analysis")
, so this week, my Twitter followers increased by about 70, and my note followers increased by about 20 in just one week♪ Thanks for the support♪(*^^*)
The growth of this blog over the past week was about as much as when I “hit the mark on Aiming” and “hit the mark on Itochu Corporation on the exact same day as Buffett”, or “predicted the national news about Happinet”. I'm so happy! (*^^*)
Even in a falling market, institutional investors aren't necessarily selling.
Did this week's analysis convey the importance of seeing the overall market sentiment from Nikkei futures OP & futures trading data well enough?
For those who have been reading this blog every day since last week, you were able to confirm every day how institutional investors were gradually increasing their long positions despite the major Nikkei drop, so you were able to avoid getting burned by short selling carelessly. I'm glad I could protect you all! (*^^*)
The lesson this time is that just because stock prices have fallen sharply, it doesn't mean all institutional investors are selling. Sometimes they are actually increasing their holdings. This is
something you would never notice just by looking at a regular stock chart. It's a privilege only for those who can read futures OP data.
From now on, I will post data on "Nikkei futures OP trading" and "futures trading" on the blog every day as much as possible.
Just posting the futures trading analysis would make the articles boring, so in the column on the futures analysis page, I will also write and update my (the author's) daily trading diary that is useful for stock and FX trading.
The reason I update the "Nikkei futures OP trading" and "futures trading" data is that if you don't collect these official past data yourself every day, you won't be able to look back at them later. But from now on,
if you come to this blog, you will be able to see that data anytime.
Please look forward to the daily updates of "Futures OP trading & Futures trading" and my "Trading Diary".
Thank you for reading until the end.
