🗺️How to Navigate Labo.: A note Introduction Article Mapping 50 Articles

Introduction

Just the other day, I wrote a commemorative article for my one-month anniversary of starting note... and with this article, Labo. reaches its 50th post.

Total views have exceeded 5,000, and I have received over 1,000 likes. And even though I am supposed to be writing mainly about investment, my slightly sour manga “Umeboshi” has surpassed 500 views. I don't really know how that happened either. Haha.

I feel like I'm always writing commemorative articles, but this time it's not just to celebrate reaching 50 posts. As the number of articles has grown, I've started to wonder, “Where should first-time visitors start reading?”

Articles where you can learn the basics of investment, projects where companies compete against each other, an encyclopedia for learning about investors and companies, and records of Labo.'s own investment thoughts. And, occasionally, a slightly strange manga. Before I knew it, several paths had been created within Labo.

So, for this 50th article, I decided to organize each post by purpose and compile them into a single map.

Whether you are a first-time visitor or a regular reader, please take a look from an entrance that interests you.

Now, let's begin the “How to Navigate Labo.”

For those who want to learn about investment from now on

“I'm interested in investment, but there are so many technical terms that I don't know where to start learning.”

For those people, Labo. explains difficult investment mechanisms as gently as possible.

Investment Made Easy

I explain things you should know when starting to invest, such as the new NISA, dividends, and sector investment, using familiar examples.
Before memorizing difficult words, this is recommended for those who want to understand the mechanisms first.

Tell Me! Labo. Teacher

This is a series where Sakura-chan, an investment beginner, solves her questions one by one through conversations with Labo. Teacher.
Even if you are not good at explanations that are just text, you can learn easily while reading the conversations.

Labo. Encyclopedia

This is an investment terminology encyclopedia that summarizes terms seen in investment articles and news by theme.
When you encounter a word you don't understand, or when you want to learn from the basics in order, please use it like a dictionary.

If you want to learn thoroughly from the mechanisms, try “Investment Made Easy”; if you want to learn happily through conversation, try “Tell Me! Labo. Teacher”; and if you want to look up terms, try “Labo. Encyclopedia.”
Please take a peek into the world of investment from an entrance that suits you.

For those who want to know about investment thinking and the future

There is no single correct answer to investment that applies to everyone. Depending on not only which stocks you choose, but also “why you invest” and “what you value,” that person's investment will change.
Here, I have summarized Labo.'s own investments and the investors and companies you should know about when thinking about the future.

Labo. Investment File

This is a series that records what Labo. has thought about while actually investing, including portfolios, profit/loss ratios, sector investment, dividend investment, and successes and failures to date.
It does not teach the correct answer to investment, but rather leaves behind how one investor has thought, including the things they were confused about and the mistakes they made.

Illustrated Guide to People and Companies Learning About the Future

This is a series that explores people who have had a major impact on the world of investing, such as Peter Lynch and Benjamin Graham, as well as companies that are building the future.
What kind of mindset did they use to view the market, and how have these companies grown?Through the stories of these people and companies, we will expand our perspectives on investing.

If you want to read about Labo.'s own investments, please take a look at the "Labo. Investment File," and if you want to learn from the stories of investors and companies, please check out the "Illustrated Guide to People and Companies Learning About the Future."

For those who enjoy watching corporate rivalries

Even if you try to research a company, it can be difficult to see the differences just by looking at numbers and business descriptions.

That is why at Labo., we treat companies like athletes and have them compete while comparing their numbers, profitability, greatest weapons, and future potential. By enjoying the outcomes, you can learn about the strengths and weaknesses of each company.

GAFAM LEAGUE

Apple, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Meta. This is a league tournament where five of the world's leading companies compete in a round-robin to determine the strongest GAFAM company. We determine the winners not only by performance and profitability, but also by adding in the weapons that symbolize the companies and which one a legendary investor would choose.

Strongest Company Showdown

This is a series that compares rival companies competing in the same industry one-on-one. Even companies that look similar have vastly different revenue structures, areas of expertise, and future strategies. Through these matchups, we willexplore new perspectives for comparing companies.

If you want to enjoy the league tournament to determine the top of GAFAM, please watch from the "GAFAM LEAGUE," and if you want to see rival matchups from various industries, please check out the "Strongest Company Showdown."

For those who want to read slightly strange manga

At Labo., there is also a manga room that is a bit removed from investing and corporate analysis.

We occasionally turn small events and questions we find in daily life, such as "pickled plums," "frying pan skating," and "autophagy," into slightly strange manga.

Labo. Manga

A manga series that you can read without thinking about difficult things, depicting the daily life and fantasies of Labo.
If you want to take a break between reading investment articles, or if you are curious about why "pickled plums" was read 500 times, please take a look here.

I cannot guarantee you will learn anything, but I think you might enjoy it a little bit.
Probably...

In Closing | The Map is Still a Work in Progress

When I line up the 50 articles one by one, I realize that I didn't have this current shape in mind from the beginning. As I wrote one article after another and received reactions from those who read them, new paths were added little by little.

To everyone who reads the articles, leaves likes and comments, and adds them to their magazines. I would like to thank everyone who found Labo. once again. Thank you very much.

As I write articles and interact through comments in this way, sometimes a side closer to my true self, which isn't visible through articles alone, suddenly appears. Such moments are one of the joys of note, but because it is a place anyone can read, I sometimes struggle with how much I should show.

While I will continue to cherish this current place, perhaps it would be good to share such facets and daily life that aren't quite article-worthy in a smaller, more limited space.
That is why I am currently thinking about a membership to share the daily life and small events of Labo. It is still in preparation, but I will let you know again once it takes shape.

This map is not yet complete. The next time I make a "How to Navigate Labo.," it is scheduled to be for the 100th article. By that time, there may be new paths that do not exist yet.

I will continue to make difficult investing easy. By having companies compete, learning about people, and exploring the future. And while drawing slightly strange manga from time to time, I will continue to expand the Labo. map little by little.

Thank you for reading this far. To end, in true Labo. fashion, we will finish with a short manga.
