[Membership Launch] Labo.ratory is open today.
I've created a membership called "Labo.ratory."
To be honest, I've been hesitant for a long time. I wondered if I should do it, or if it was still too early 😭
But the desire to have a place where I can interact with you all a little more closely has grown stronger, so I decided to take the plunge and start it.
The first plan is "FLASK" for 500 yen per month. It's not a place for anything major, but... I'd be happy if you could see the behind-the-scenes of my work, the everyday side of Labo., and feel a little closer than you can through my articles.
I hope to make it feel like a laboratory, not a finished place, but one that we can shape little by little together.
Free articles will continue as before
Some of you might have heard that I'm starting a membership and wondered, "Will the articles I've been reading become paid content?"... I wanted to make sure I addressed that clearly.
Investment articles, corporate/personality profiles, short stories—the free articles I've published so far will continue just as they are. I have absolutely no intention of reducing free articles and moving them to the membership.
Since I'll be running a membership as well, the frequency of my free article posts might drop a little! But I intend to keep it as consistent as possible.
Labo.ratory isn't meant to close the existing space, but rather to add a new room.
The place where you enjoy my usual articles remains the same.
Separately from that, I'm creating a place where you can enjoy the world of Labo. from a slightly closer distance. That's the idea.
Oh, and things like nail talk, stories about failing at baking... I think I'll be posting more of that private stuff in the membership 😭 It was hard to post those in my regular articles because I didn't want to break the "investment education account" vibe, but I think I can post those kinds of things freely in Labo.ratory.
I want to cherish and nurture both.
What you can do with FLASK
Currently, I'm planning three main projects for FLASK. There might be some changes, though...
Seasonal Collection
This is a limited art collection for Labo. released every season. The first theme is "Summer 2026."
In my regular articles, Labo. is always wearing the same black dress. That's her "face," so I can't change that...
But this collection is different. She's in casual clothes that you would never see otherwise. Actually, I struggled quite a bit with making this, but I thought I might as well show a side of her that isn't usually seen 😭
When a new season's work is released for the Seasonal Collection, the previous season's work will be made private. It's a limited look that can only be seen by those who participated during that season and that time.
I think it'll be really fun to make because I can have Labo. wear all sorts of outfits here 😝
Labo. Consultation Room
To be honest, I'm not very confident about this part. I don't think I can provide answers on my own, and I'm a bit anxious about whether I can answer questions well.
Even so, I wanted to create a place where you can talk about those "hard-to-say" things—the things you worry about others seeing in the comments section or articles—without worrying too much.
Also, this is a personal feeling...
I want to be relied upon. I admire the position of a reliable older sister, the kind of adult woman who can be counted on! Haha.
Investments, note, AI, creative work. Whether it's a serious consultation or just casual chatter, even though it's called a "Consultation Room," I hope it becomes a place where we can talk and have fun.
Labo-stagram
I'll be posting Labo. before she becomes an article, behind-the-scenes of my work, and little bits of daily life. It's not just about finished works, but also "I was thinking about this today" or "Actually, I had this failure." It's a place where you can meet a more relaxed Labo.
Also, I'm still thinking about this, but I've hidden little secrets inside Labo.'s articles. I'm debating whether or not to reveal them. They aren't huge secrets, but knowing them might make things more fun, or conversely, you might think "I wish I hadn't known"... I'm really torn 😭

It is not a finished place
Labo.ratoryisn't finished today. It's more like the day the experiment begins.
What kind of projects are fun? What kind of distance feels comfortable? Honestly, I don't know yet at all, and I hope to change the shape of it little by little while listening to the voices of those who participate.
I don't intend to make it a huge place from the start. I hope to nurture it over time into a place where you can think, "Coming here makes me a little happy."
To Labo.'s new laboratory
I don't want to just write an article and be done with it; I want to cherish the conversations that are born afterward. I want to share not just the finished work, but the time it takes to get there... That's the feeling with which I created Labo.ratory.
Whether you participate or not is, of course, up to you! I'm truly happy just to have you reading my free articles as always ☺️
Even so, if there is anyone who thinks, "I want to peek into the world of Labo. a little more" or "I want to help nurture this laboratory together"... please open the door to FLASK using the "Join Membership" button below this article 🧪
This is a new experiment starting today. I'll be waiting for you at Labo.ratory.
