🌸Invited by the Harbinger of Spring🌸 Universe Cup Everyone's Haiku Tournament🎉

Although there are still cold snaps, these days it is gradually starting to feel like spring, and a seasonal event that enlivens note has begun (^^)/!

Thinking that I am bad at haiku and not very good at it... I decided to try composing some, invited by the spring weather, or perhaps invited by someone else (?)

The first time I participated in a haiku tournament was the "Shiro Cup".
I knew that you had to include a seasonal word in a haiku, but I didn't know much about almanacs or the like, and I secretly submitted my entry while mixing in with people who were already used to haiku (^^;

And so, the impression that it was something with a high barrier to entry completely... disappeared somewhere... and I became immersed in the fun of participating (^^♪
From around that time, it seems that my interactions with people within note also increased.

After all, if you are not familiar with it, you tend to tense up, thinking you need to fit it into a mold or that you must create something amazing.

However, you can start very casually.
Since various people are submitting various haiku, there is a unique sensibility and personal language in each one, and that is what makes it fun.


With that said, I will also submit a few.

The voice of the bush warbler warms my heart

In the area where I live, even nowadays, I can sometimes hear the voice of a bush warbler when spring arrives. On a sunny spring day, the voice of the bush warbler makes my heart feel somewhat pure and warm.
Although the bush warbler is precious in the city, I hope that such atmosphere will remain forever.

New fiscal year, first day of work along the cherry tree-lined street

At the beginning of April, I remember how I felt on my first day of work at the company.
I wonder if there are others who remember going to work through a tunnel of cherry trees on their very first day as a working adult.
While feeling a little nervous, I remember the excitement as if the cherry blossoms were seeing me off.

Class assignment, searching for that special someone on the bulletin board

When you go to school after moving up a grade, the first thing you do is look at the class assignment bulletin board.
If there was someone I liked, I would look through the names on the class assignment board with a pounding heart, hoping that we would be in the same class.
I hope we're in the same class~, that first heart-pounding feeling of spring when I was still in my teens, it feels nostalgic now...✨

Although I have a poor imagination for creating spring-like haiku, I composed these based on my own past experiences and memories.

They are really just casual, as-is haiku (￣▽￣;)

Personally, I would like to be able to create haiku that evoke emotion, but I think it is also important to start by just enjoying composing them.

Also, as mentioned in the application requirements article I listed at the beginning, "Everyone's Senryu Tournament" and "Everyone's Tanka Tournament" are also being held at the same time.
