Using Feelings of Unease as a Springboard
What kind of things come to mind when you think about what you truly desire?
Is it a wish, like wanting to be this or that?
Or is it a state where the image of how you want to be is a bit more concrete?
When you can't do something yet, feel like you're lacking, or things aren't going as planned, you tend to feel a bit uneasy, don't you?
Often, we end up coming to terms with those feelings of unease and finding a compromise.
However, there are times when I, too, feel that unease day after day. Times when, no matter how I think about it, I just can't come to terms with it.
Those very feelings of unease can be a hint for changing yourself.
If the input is the same, the output will not change
Yes, this is a golden rule that a prep school teacher mentioned during a lecture when I was studying for the Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultant exam, and it still stays with me today!
I want to change myself
I want to change the status quo
I want to get better
I want to improve my management
I want to become a leader
...
The flip side of these is that feeling of unease.
The current situation is far from the ideal state you desire.
If that is the case, try changing your approach.
Try changing your morning routine
Try changing how you work
Try changing your commute route
And so on.

When you change your approach, even if you are looking at the same thing, you will surely find different blind spots that you had previously overlooked.
I also continue my Radio English Conversation lessons because I want to change myself!
