Solo Trip: Beppu Edition Part 1 | "Song of the Day"

What a nice hot spring, ah-ha-han

The main purpose of this solo trip was the
"What a nice hot spring!" music festival.

I love solo trips, I love music,
and since so many of my favorite artists were performing,
there was no option but to go.

I took the afternoon off the day before and flew to Oita Airport on an evening flight.
It takes about an hour and a half by bus from the airport to Beppu Station.

My flight arrived at 19:15, and the bus I wanted to catch departed at 19:30.
The plane was a bit delayed, so I was nervous about whether I'd make it 😂
The next bus wasn't until 21:00... I ran, thinking, "I absolutely cannot miss this!"

As it turned out, I safely made it onto the empty 19:30 bus. Lol
It was so empty that I wondered if it was only important to me!

With that, I arrived at Beppu Station.
After dropping my bags at the inn, I headed out into the city.

Beppu is a nightlife city, so I was a little nervous.
But I had already picked out an oden shop, so I walked toward that.

Luckily, the shop was open, and I was able to sit at the counter.
I had oden, the shop's yakisoba, and of course, a beer.

I was just so grateful!
I was filled with the feeling that it was the best.
The name of the shop is "Fukuya."

Doesn't it look delicious?
And the bill was calculated using an abacus!
Everything about it was great.

On the way back that day, I stopped by an ice cream shop that stays open late, wandered back, and went to sleep early. So, I'm having a blast even from the pre-festival night before the event actually starts.
I think I'll write about the day of the event tomorrow~
