It is definitely not out of frustration that my gastrointestinal tract is held by Asahi every day.
I am not a weak-willed consumer who can be easily swayed by a company's simplistic marketing.
I always watch with a cold, detached gaze as the world melts away its cash on things like "mindful living" or "organic herbal tea that looks good on social media."
What one should seek in a beverage is not some fleeting sentiment.
It is the "function" of hydration and the "logic" of cost-performance.
It seems Asahi Soft Drinks and note are collaborating on a project with the theme"#TimeWithADrink".
The official page features a beautiful, catchy slogan:"100 years of excitement and smiles.".
Hmph. Don't make me laugh.
There is no way a grown adult would feel excited or smile just from putting a mere liquid into their mouth—.
Thinking this, I suddenly looked around my room.
Feeling cold sweat running down various parts of my Stream (thoughts).
In the corner of the room, bottles of supplements were lined up in a perfect formation.
It is my "body hack stack" for perfectly controlling the weakness of my gastrointestinal tract.
Among them, I stare in order at the bottles that exude an overwhelming presence and in which I place absolute trust.
Multivitamins. Zinc. And for good measure, Vitamin C (standalone).
The brand for all of them is "Dear-Natura."
With trepidation, I turn the bottle over to check the manufacturer. [Asahi Group Foods, Ltd.].
"...!?"
Unable to hide my agitation, I look at the giant bottle of "Ebios Tablets," the absolute guardian deity of my gastrointestinal tract.
This, too, is naturally an Asahi Group product.
I open the refrigerator with trembling hands.
There, my absolute ace that governs my throat and brain detox,"Mitsuya Cider", is stocked in a beautiful formation without a single gap.
I am, if I do say so myself, a heavy user of Mitsuya Cider, and whenever a new product comes out, I am the kind of man who always buys it to try, wearing the face of a veteran critic, saying, "Oh, so that's how they're doing it this time."
I have never once run out of stock.
Furthermore, the water I drink in large quantities every day, passionately claiming that "hot water is for the weak, room temperature is supreme."
I look at the label. "Asahi Oishii Mizu Natural Mineral Water."
......It's over.
I was completely surrounded.
Where did the pride of an intellectual essayist who boasted so much about "not becoming a corporate dog" go? My multivitamins, my zinc, my extra Vitamin C, my throat's hydration, my excitement for new products, and even the power of life and death over my gastrointestinal tract were all perfectly controlled on the massive board called"Asahi".
It is no exaggeration to say that my internal organs are being totally coordinated.
"Damn it, at this rate, I'm just being rolled around in the palm of Asahi's hand."
My useless pride attempts a final resistance.
However, my brain, my gastrointestinal tract, and my throat have already developed such a sense of "security" with Asahi products.
Other companies just won't do.
Just by seeing that Asahi logo, my cells detect a "sense of security like being back at my parents' home" and feel relieved. Asahi, I kind of like you.
Total defeat.
My stubborn logic had been melted away without a trace by the"excitement and smiles"that Asahi upholds.
Every time a new product came out, I would get properly excited and head to the register with a proper smile.
But I am definitely not frustrated.
Because this time, with my very internal organs held by Asahi, is the "supreme richness" that firmly supports my every day.
Tonight, too, I will immerse myself deeply in the supreme"Time With A Drink"while setting up my Asahi overdose formation, washing down the perfect Dear-Natura lineup with Mitsuya Cider.
......Now, you who have read this far.
If you are convinced by my perfect Asahi defeat logic, just leave a quiet "Indeed" in the comments section and be on your way.
By the way, when the "Indeed"s gather, the Ebios (shrimp/crab) in my gastrointestinal tract will be very happy.
That is all from the scene 🦐🦀
