😂 Grandpa, listen to this! My husband is always home - Kayo-san's retirement edition

On an early winter afternoon when the wind had turned cold.
As Ryota was basking in the sun,
Kayo-san from next door came over wearing a scarf.

"Grandpa, my husband, he's just home all the time."
Kayo-san complained right off the bat.

"It's fine that he retired, but
he watches TV all day, drinks tea,
and just asks, 'Is lunch ready yet?'
I feel like I've got another 'boss' in the house."

Ryota gave a bitter smile.
"At my company, 'wives distancing themselves after retirement' is a hot topic.
The longer you spend time together,
the more you notice them 'doing nothing,' don't you?"

Men-chan laughed while drinking coffee.
"I get it~🤣
If I'm home all day on my day off,
my wife tells me to 'go somewhere!'"

Kayo-san laughed, but then added,
"But you know, sometimes when I look at his back,
"I think, 'This man has suddenly gotten so old...'
The feeling of anger and the feeling of sadness get mixed up,

Grandpa nodded deeply.

Finding that perfect distance
is the new practice for an old couple."

Kayo-san's expression softened.

"We've already got a complete separate-living style🤣
Even though we're under the same roof!"
"That might be the most peaceful way," Ryota laughed,
