We are a lifestyle magazine that focuses on one cinema each month,
introducing its charm from various perspectives.

We mainly visit independent theaters and classic cinemas.
We listen to the voices of managers and staff,
experience the sounds and atmosphere of the lobby,
and drop by nearby cafes and secondhand bookstores.

Just as your heart swells with anticipation while waiting for a screening in the lobby,
we want to make you feel excited about the prospect of visiting a cinema.
We convey such pleasures through words, photographs, and videos.

This is a medium that touches upon the "places" created
where local culture and the stories of various people intersect,
rather than just a place to watch movies.

First, to travel around unique cinemas all over Japan.
And eventually, we want to deliver the charm of cinemas around the world as well.

Beyond just introducing them,
we also hope to share real excitement with you
through collaborations and screening events with the cinemas.

And our biggest goal is
to publish Foyer as a "paper magazine."
From digital screens to the warmth of paper.
Aiming to be a publication read in theater lobbies (foyers).
