The Future Earth We Create Together: "Fun Environmental Festival" to be Held!
Hello!
This is Aya (female) from the Wakayama Food and Living Project.
In this project, we work with everyone living in Wakayama to...
share tips for thinking about our "daily lives"
based on various events centered around "food"...
That is the kind of initiative we are undertaking!
It is finally December; don't you feel like time passes at an abnormal speed during this time of year?
I imagine you are all very busy every day with work and preparations for the end of the year and the New Year.
Why not take just one day away from those hectic days and go with your family or friends to the
Fun Environmental Festival? This year, it will be held on
Saturday, December 20th, at Kainan City's "Kainan Nobinos" & "Kainan Health and Welfare Center" (the building across from Nobinos). You can spend a day where everyone, from adults to children, can learn about the environment while having fun!

It's great to just wander around and enjoy it, and even better to dive in and experience it.

Once again, organizations and companies in Wakayama Prefecture working on environmental issues will be exhibiting at the Fun Environmental Festival. Whether it's learning through casual quizzes or taking your time to craft something through hands-on experience, the best part of this event is that you can enjoy it in a way that suits you.
The exhibition booths are clearly divided into six themes:"Energy," "Food and Water," "Zero Waste (3R)," "Living Things (Biodiversity)," "Climate Change," and "Disaster Prevention/Mitigation."So please feel free to take a look at the booths that interest you.
On the Nobinos Hall stage, there will be presentations by children and an awards ceremony.
Also, for the first time, there will be a talk by HIRO from Yasuda Dai Circus!

The "Wakayama Food and Living Project" will beholding a "Compost at Home" workshop. For those of you who are wondering, "Maybe I'll finally try that popular composting next year!"—we look forward to your participation.
Until last year, this event was held at the "Misono Shopping Street" in Wakayama City, but because it is a cold time of year, this year it will be held indoors at Kainan Nobinos & the Health and Welfare Center. When you come, please try to use public transportation as much as possible.
As an aside, my son (who was in first grade at the time) participated last year and enjoyed going around everywhere by himself. As a parent, it made me nervous, but... I'll let him participate with a kids' mobile phone this year (laughs).
Thank you for reading to the end this time as well.
