I'm not good at resting. Even so, note is a great source of vitality for me
Hello, I'm Akimam.
"Ah... I'm so exhausted. I can't do this..."
There have been many moments when I've felt that way.
Actually, I've been feeling unwell since Sunday and have been down for the past few days 💦
I had a high fever for the first time in a while, followed by a sore throat and a splitting headache.
My lymph nodes were swollen to the point of bursting, and even just coughing caused pain.
I took painkillers repeatedly to try and get through it.
I've always had enlarged tonsils, and my right tonsil is larger than the average person's.
So, when it gets a bacterial infection, it swells up so much that I feel like my throat is going to be blocked off.
When it gets to this point, recovery is slow unless I take antibiotics, so I decided to see an ENT specialist.
However, the hospital is one train station away...
It's a distance I could bike, but that day, even that felt too difficult.
Even so, I managed to get there, but the wait was long...
Don't you feel like ENT and orthopedic clinics are always crowded for some reason? lol
And the diagnosis was,strep throat😭
In the end, it took about 3 hours to go and come back.
For someone with no energy like me, it was quite tough.
Also, my son had already started spring break that day, so
I made him a bento in the morning and sent him to after-school care (the name varies depending on the region).
Even after bringing my fever down with antipyretics, I still felt terrible...
Just cooking rice and packing frozen food in the morning was a struggle.
I think my husband is the type who takes the initiative in raising our child.
But lately, he's been busy with work, and since he's never been a morning person,
"I'll make the bento!"
He said that, but in the end, he couldn't wake up.
Why...
He could have at least tried his best to wake up for once...
Between the physical exhaustion and the frustration, tears just spilled out.
To make up for it, he came home early that night and
took care of dinner, the bath, and getting ready for bed.
He was still working remotely after that,
so I think he did the best he could in his own way.
And, this might be a bad habit of mine, but
I just can't help but notice when the room is messy or when the dishes and laundry are piling up.
If possible, I want to vacuum every day too.
But when you're feeling sick, that's pretty difficult, right?
Even so, I end up doing it...
I can't do it as perfectly as usual, but
I try pushing the scattered toys to the corner,
or vacuuming only under the table where the trash is noticeable.
Even with laundry, I use the dryer, but I hate it when it gets wrinkled,
so I fold it while feeling dizzy...
While feeling so exhausted I could cry,
I was telling myself, "Do you really need to do this? Are you stupid?"... lol
Even so, there's a part of me that can't stop.

I've really been sleep-deprived lately.
There's a lot on my mind...
I'm a full-time housewife, so I should have more time than everyone else, but I haven't been able to manage my time well, and I think it's been a burden on both my body and mind.
I've been checking note here and there, but
I haven't been able to read everyone's articles slowly,
and I didn't have the energy to comment, so I was filled with a sense of loneliness.
"You can just forget about note and rest slowly for once like this."
I feel like I could hear that voice, but
seeing the notifications arriving on my smartphone,
knowing there are people who comment, leave likes, and follow me.
Being able to read everyone's articles and interact through comments.
That makes me so happy...
note is a precious existence to me.
That's why it has become such a great source of vitality for me.
The swelling and pain in my throat have calmed down little by little, but
the sluggishness in my body still remains, and I still have a low-grade fever.
I hope to get well soon and return to this place slowly,
so I can enjoy note with everyone again🌱
If there is anyone who leaves a comment here, it might be late, but I will definitely reply, so I would be happy if you could wait a little while🙇♀️
As I write this article while thinking of everyone,
I feel like my exhaustion is lifting a little, strangely enough.
I realized once again that I am always being helped by everyone's presence.
Thank you so much🍀✨
It was a clumsy piece of writing, but thank you for reading until the end.
