I ate Myojo Ippei-chan Yomise no Yakisoba: 30-Spice Fragrant Sauce Flavor. (Oct 2)
It seems it was newly released on Monday, September 29, 2025.
A spicy Ippei-chan with the aroma of 30 carefully selected spices that stimulates your appetite! The sweet and rich sauce based on Worcestershire sauce and the spice seasoning are a winning combination!
Myojo Foods is one of Japan's leading instant noodle manufacturers. They are famous for products like Charumera.
I was surprised when I looked at the origins of the 30 types of spices!?
India, China, Mexico, Guatemala, Jamaica, Honduras, Indonesia, Spain, Morocco, Peru, Chile, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, Malaysia, Egypt, Canada, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, Australia, Finland, Netherlands, Iran, Syria, Japan, USA
I never imagined they used spices from so many different countries!
Ippei-chan is apparently celebrating its 30th anniversary this year!
I didn't know it had been around for that long!
Also, it's interesting that they released a product using 30 types of spices for their 30th anniversary.
Myojo Ippei-chan Yomise no Yakisoba was launched in 1995, taking on the new challenge of being a cup yakisoba with mustard mayonnaise. Since then, it has been well-received for the savory aroma of its sauce and the richness created by the mustard mayonnaise, and it celebrated its 30th anniversary on February 20, 2025.
January 18, 1993: Ippei-chan series launched
I poured in the hot water, made the cup yakisoba, and ate it after adding the spice seasoning and the included mayonnaise, which they call Mayo Beam.
The spices were effective, making it spicy and
delicious 😋 I didn't think it was that hot.
The mustard mayonnaise goes well with it too!
It had been a very long time
since I last ate anything from the Ippei-chan series.
Cup yakisoba is nice once in a while 👍
