My Car Introduction 1: Land Cruiser Prado 150
In this third post, I would like to introduce my car, which is an essential part of supporting my hobbies. My partner is a Land Cruiser Prado TX-L Package 70th Anniversary Edition, which I purchased new in April 2022. It is indispensable for my daily commutes as well as for enjoying outdoor activities like surfing, golf, and camping.
One of the reasons I chose the Land Cruiser Prado is its design and off-road capability, which are classic reasons for any Land Cruiser enthusiast. Its exterior is both substantial and sophisticated, making it a great fit for everything from daily use to outdoor scenes. Also, given the regional characteristics of Nagano, driving on snowy roads in winter is unavoidable, and the Prado's stability provides peace of mind during travel. It also has excellent cargo capacity, and the fact that it can easily store a full set of camping gear is a very reliable point for enjoying the outdoors.
Since taking delivery, I have made it a point to treat my car with care. Even now, I make sure to hand-wash it every two weeks to maintain its condition. Washing the car is not just maintenance; it has become one of my pleasures as a time to connect with the vehicle. In the future, I plan to introduce the car wash goods and maintenance supplies I actually use, hoping it will be a reference for those who also cherish their cars.
I have also challenged myself with customizations that I can do on my own. I have been making improvements, focusing on parts I touch daily, such as adding interior accessories and small exterior dress-up items. Moving forward, I am considering installing a roof rack to further enhance its practicality. Although I haven't been able to install it yet because of the cost, it would be especially effective when carrying more gear for hobbies like camping and surfing, and I expect it will improve convenience.
The Land Cruiser Prado is more than just a means of transportation; it is a "partner" that supports my hobbies and lifestyle. I plan to regularly share specific information regarding customizations and car washing, as well as impressions from long-term use, in the hope that it will be useful for those who own the same car or are considering purchasing one.
