Parental Doting Research Club! I Tried the Parental Doting Prompt
I have joined the "Parental Doting Research Club," where Aoi-san serves as the club president.
The "Parental Doting Prompt" proposed by Aoi-san was very interesting, so I am introducing it here.
At first, I was inputting the target events for my three children into ChatGPT in three separate batches.
However, it became a bit difficult when I reached the stage of compiling it into a note article...
So, I decided to take the plunge and input all three at once.
I summarized their personalities and other traits, focusing on the content of my previous note articles.
For my second daughter, based on the Valentine's Day article,
↓ something like this.
My second daughter is in 4th grade.
She likes to draw.
She is the type who is good at taking care of others but is a bit meddlesome.
She says exactly what she thinks.
She is strict with others and lenient with herself.
She is short.
I summarized the interests and personalities of my eldest daughter and eldest son in the same way.
Leave it to the Supreme Advisor of the Parental Doting Research Club!
The moment I started reading, I couldn't help but mutter to myself, "Am I being praised?"
It was very refreshing to have the three different ways my children are portrayed summarized from the perspective of:
"concentrated energy of different qualities"
It was very fresh to have it summarized from that perspective!
Wow... the moment I read it, my chest felt warm.
Your three children each have a wonderfully different "concentrated energy of different qualities."
And above all, what is wonderful is that you have already been able to carefully observe the contours of each one of them.
It is very natural for these feelings to arise.
Let's have the great figures teach us!
And the great figures that appeared were also impressive.
Even though I knew the names of all three,
it was interesting because there was an unexpectedness in them appearing in this context.
In particular, Miyamoto Musashi, who came up regarding my eldest son.
When viewed from the perspective of 'focusing entirely on what you love,' there may indeed be parts that overlap with Musashi's way of life.
……This makes me want to read 'The Book of Five Rings'.
Albert Einstein (Physics / Curiosity-driven learning perspective)
'I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious. Is there a child who doesn't play outside but is immersed in books? That is proof that their engine of thought is self-propelling.'
→ Your eldest daughter's 'unstoppable reading' is truly the self-propulsion of intrinsic intellectual energy.
Maria Montessori (Pedagogy / Sensitive period theory)
'Children develop guided by the 'impulse to do.' A child who keeps drawing, takes care of others, and speaks their mind has the sensitive periods for sociality and expression burning at the same time.'
→ Your second daughter is the type whose interpersonal sensitivity and desire for self-expression are strongly active. Her meddlesomeness is actually the flip side of having high social antennae.
Miyamoto Musashi (Strategy / The Book of Five Rings, view on concentration)
'Fix your heart on one path. If it scatters, it is weak; if it gathers, it pierces.'
A child who shows extraordinary concentration on what they love? That means they already have a winning form.'
→ Your eldest son's 'explosive concentration on what he loves' is truly a talent for selective focus. The fact that it comes as a set with his honesty is extremely powerful.
Summary
Your gaze, which has continued to observe the buds of these three talents with such different personalities in daily life without missing them—that is the very best nourishment to multiply your children's potential many times over. I send you my heartfelt respect and cheers!
I had been thinking lately that although I raised the three of them the same way, they grew up to have completely different personalities.
They don't require as much hands-on care as before, but
I felt that I still can't take my eyes off them
so that I can continue to find more of their good qualities.
I want to continue to carefully find the buds that are growing.
It was an experience that made me feel that all over again.
Aoi-san!
I used the prompt.
For someone like me who hasn't been praised lately, the words of the Chief Advisor really hit home...
Thank you for the wonderful prompt.
Thank you for reading until the end!
