The Rakuten Shopping Marathon runs from 7/4 (Sat) 20:00 to 7/11 (Sat) 01:59. What's more, this time the period includes both a '5' day (7/5) and a '0' day (7/10). I was low-key excited when I realized this.
If you miss the timing for bulk buying, you feel like you've lost out on a whole month, so I'm sharing the daily essentials I plan to buy and the point-combining strategy I always use.

■ First, a quick look at how it works

The Shopping Marathon is a system where your point multiplier increases with the number of shops you buy from (1,000 yen or more including tax per shop). If you shop at 10 stores, you get up to 10x points (1x base + 9x bonus).
When '5 and 0' days overlap with this, the multiplier is increased even further. This time, there are two chances during the period: 7/5 and 7/10.
If you meet all the conditions (Rakuten card payment + Rakuma usage + 10 stores fully completed), it's theoretically possible to reach 15x, so even if you can't do it all, 'splitting your purchases between the first day and the 5th' is quite realistic.
