Misaki, who has a hearing impairment, was working on developing a groundbreaking app that converts speech into text and identifies "who said what." Appearing before them was Saku, a young man who lost his sight in a past accident and carries deep despair.

The straightforward Eri is drawn to Saku, and Saku is strongly drawn to Misaki, the owner of the "words" that saved him when he was in the darkness.

Characters

Misaki Tojo

The protagonist who lost her hearing. Although she has a hearing impairment, her personality is positive. She doesn't let people feel that she has a disability. At times, she even possesses a cunning nature that allows her to take advantage of being disabled.
She has a model-like figure and idol-like looks, and while many men approach her, they all leave once they find out she is disabled. She is fed up with men who only approach her for her looks.
She was hired by her current company under a quota for people with disabilities and assigned to the accessibility promotion department, where she implements universal design and the like. She works just as well as any able-bodied person.

Eri Nishihara

A sign language interpreter. Misaki's best friend and greatest confidante. She becomes attracted to Saku.
She met Misaki at a university sign language club. Because she took a gap year, she is one year behind Misaki in school.
She is impulsive and straightforward with her feelings. She has a slightly childish side. She is active in love and has had various boyfriends. She likes alcohol but isn't very strong, and when she gets drunk, Misaki takes care of her and brings her home. Conversely, she claims that if Misaki is there, she will drink until she passes out.
She falls in love at first sight when Saku hands her a plastic bottle while she is feeling sick from a hangover.

Saku Minamikawa

The protagonist who lost his sight. A former high school baseball pitcher. He was set to join a famous professional team, but in his final game, a broken bat struck his face, causing him to lose his vision.
He falls in love with Eri after handing her a plastic bottle when he finds her crouching in the company's elevator hall. Saku himself wasn't aware of her at first, but he is gradually being swayed by Eri's repeated advances.
