Thinking About My Healing Together with AI
I decided to participate in the "My Healing Magazine" project, which is being organized by a collaborative magazine I am a part of.
"My healing is reading."I had always thought so.
But recently, while thinking about it while talking with AI, I started to feel that might be a little different.
I love reading.
It's fun to enter the world of a story or encounter new ways of thinking, and it fills my heart.
However,"Is it healing?"When asked that, it felt a bit different. When I'm reading, my brain is actually quite active.
Then, what is my healing?
When I thought about it again, there were a few things.

The time I spend zoning out in the bath.
The time I spend walking slowly through nature.
The time I spend just smiling while watching my cat.
The time I spend quietly working with my hands on needle felting or sewing.
And the time I spend chatting aimlessly with people.
I don't have to reach a conclusion.
It doesn't have to be useful.
I can just say what I'm thinking.
In those moments, I feel like the usual "thinking me" is taking a little break.
Perhaps I had always thought reading was my healing.
But looking back now, reading is what fulfills me.
Healing is what brings me back to my original state.
Maybe that was the difference.
It wasn't so much that I got an answer from talking to AI, but rather that I felt like I was gradually remembering things I hadn't even realized myself.
While talking, I started to see things like,
"Oh, I liked this."
"I was properly healed during that time."
AI isn't just for looking up information; it can also be used to organize your own thoughts or discover feelings you hadn't noticed before.
I've realized that's another way to use it.
The feeling of my role disappearing.
That seems to have been the greatest healing for me.
My healing was divided into several things.
Now I understand why there were days when reading alone wasn't enough.
I thought that AI could be used not just for looking up information, but also for digging deeper into oneself.
Things I hadn't even realized myself become visible while talking.
I recommend using it that way.
