立川市曙町の都立北多摩高校（2013年3月末閉校 現在は東京都立立川国際中等教育学校・中高一貫制共学校）三年生だった頃（1972年）、自転車通学の帰宅時に15分ほど走って通ってた国立市旭通りのジャズ喫茶「喇叭」で何度も聴いていた、LP『ポートレイトインジャズ』を購入したのは大学生になってからで、二千円でした。
1973年3月、明治大学文学部入学直前の春休みに国立市旭通りの本屋でアルバイトした時の時給は180円だったなぁ。

高校三年生の頃（1972）から通い始めた国立市旭通りのジャズ喫茶「喇叭」で、このフルート入り「枯葉」を繰り返し聴いていましたけど、LPは買えませんでした。
その後30年ぐらい経った、うつ病発症の一年前、2003年10月に中古CDを1350円で購入しました。
可処分所得のあったあの頃、毎月CDを何枚も買っていたのが、パソコンのエクセルファイル "cd.xls" 413行 に記録されています。
LP.xls ファイルは作成しなかったので、LPを何枚持っているかは分かりません。

1987年春、太宰府の筑紫女学園短期大学附属図書館に転職した頃、CDの時代になりました。私も1987年暮れにCDとダブルカセットデッキのステレオを購入し、学生の頃（1973-77）、国立市旭通りのジャズ喫茶「喇叭」で聴いてはいたけどLPは買えなかった、『エクスプロレイションズ』を輸入盤の割安CDで入手しました。エクセルファイル "cd.xls" を作成し始めたのは2003年なので、このCDの購入年月日・値段は不明です。
