A 'Slightly Embarrassing Experience' of an Acupuncturist Specializing in Male Function
Introduction
I'm Yukio.
I have been an acupuncturist for 30 years.
Many people come to my clinic suffering from male menopause in their 40s and beyond, low testosterone, and ED.
In this note,
I share how to rebuild your body so you don't have to let age be the end of it, from the perspectives of blood flow, the autonomic nervous system, and the concept of 'kidney essence' in Oriental medicine.
This time, I'm going to talk about a 'slightly embarrassing experience' of mine.
Zhongji, Guanyuan, Dantian.
If you are an acupuncturist, you definitely know these locations.
And if you are dealing with men's concerns,
these are also acupoints you cannot avoid.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a story from when I was young.
During my student days, there was a class on these acupoints.
Name.
Location.
Indications.
The textbook said this:
Impotence.
Nowadays, this is what we call erectile dysfunction, or ED.
That night, out of curiosity,
I applied press needles to Zhongji and Guanyuan and went to sleep.
Press needles are small needles like the tip of a thumbtack that are fixed in place with a sticker.
They are used to provide continuous, gentle stimulation.
Then,
the next morning, I had a nocturnal emission.
Honestly, I was surprised.
I'm sure my youth played a part.
It might have been a coincidence.
However, the body's reaction was certain.
A few years later.
When I started working as an acupuncturist,
I was treating a man in his late 30s for lower back pain.
Even if the back hurts, I always examine the abdomen.
I applied needles to Zhongji and Guanyuan and left them for a while.
Then, I was called from behind the curtain.
'Excuse me, doctor.'
'What's the matter?'
Then, in a low, troubled voice,
'Something is... getting bigger...'
It was reacting enough to be noticeable even through the bath towel.
I was surprised inside, too, but
I understood what was happening.
'It's okay.
This happens sometimes.'
I told him that, removed the needles, and had him rest for a while.
The back treatment finished without any issues, and
with these two experiences, I was convinced.
Zhongji and Guanyuan are deeply connected to male function.
However, I didn't know yet at that time.
Who does it work for?
What kind of conditions does it work for?
That was where the real clinical work began.
Instead of that patient who stopped coming,
I tried it on my own body,
had acquaintances cooperate,
and asked patients I had become close with to be monitors.
And then I began to understand.
There is a common thread among those who react.
The lower abdomen is cold.
There is no strength in the Dantian.
The lower back is stiff.
Stress is high.
When this area weakens,
erections don't start,
they go limp halfway through,
libido drops,
chronic fatigue sets in.
In modern medical terms,
decreased pelvic blood flow,
autonomic nervous system imbalance,
decreased testosterone activity.
That is what is manifesting as weakness in the lower abdomen.
Stimulate and protect 'Zhongji', 'Guanyuan', and 'Dantian'.
Even just doing this will change your body.
You don't need special talent.
Know the method.
Do it.
Continue it.
That's all.
Male function is
not an embarrassing problem.
It is a sign that the center of your body is weak.
Chukyo.
Kangen.
Tanden.
