Fabrics without surface irregularities

Elegance, a nobility like that of the Imperial Family. The most important thing for such fashion is the feel of the fabric. This is because the price is most apparent in the fabric. What makes you look elegant is a smooth fabric with few surface irregularities. Scientifically speaking, it is a fabric with a low coefficient of friction.

I will explain this while providing concrete examples.

Let's compare these three knits. Which one is the smoothest? Each knit has its own merits. The fabric on the far right is what creates an elegant fabric and a noble atmosphere. Fabrics where you cannot see the seams or stitches are smooth fabrics.

It is not just the stitches and seams that create surface irregularities. It also depends on the shape of the yarn used to make the fabric. Even with mohair knits, fabrics without fuzz create a more elegant and static atmosphere than materials that are fluffy and fuzzy. A feeling that is smooth to the touch.

The silhouette of elegant fashion must be stable above all else. It is important that the shape is such that it does not get messy even when the wind blows.

It is neither flared (A-line) nor tapered at the hem (Y-line). It is an oval shape.

A silhouette that is just slightly relaxed

If you follow all the rules for elegant, royal-like fashion, the result is an atmosphere so noble it feels unapproachable. However, for those of us living in ordinary society, a moderate sense of approachability is also important. This is even more true for Ossun-sama, who includes working as a coach in his scope of activities.

If a silhouette that doesn't budge even in the wind represents an unapproachable level of nobility, then changing to a style that sways just a little in the wind significantly increases approachability.

For example, make the hem flare just a little bit. In elegant fashion, it is best to keep the angle of the flare sharp, at 30 degrees or less.

What it means to know what suits you

Know the core of what suits you. The colors, patterns, shapes, and materials that look good on you. Once you know that, you will understand how far you can deviate from the rules.

Being "suited" or "looking wonderful" is not limited to cases where all conditions of color, pattern, shape, and material are "suited." If 60% or more of the overall coordination suits you, it will turn out beautifully.

For example, Ossun-san, who looks good in the kind of elegant, royal-like style introduced this time. By wearing clothes that flare slightly more than a perfectly elegant style, or using casual fabrics like cotton or denim instead of ultra-luxurious silk, you can create a sense of approachability.

When you know the core of what suits you, you can wear items you previously thought "didn't suit you" wonderfully. For example, Ossun-sama is good with pale colors and not as good with dark colors. However, this wine-red outfit suits him well.

The fabric and silhouette are aligned with the core that suits Ossun-sama, and only the color is outside of what is "suited." Even colors you thought you weren't good with can be made to look wonderful.

Where does your own core lie?. The best shortcut to applying and breaking the rules (creating a sense of ease) is knowing what your own core is.
