[Vol. 41] It's not about filling it up—The 18 million yen NISA and how to use your capital 💰🧭
When your heart is swayed by the system 💸
Tsumitate NISA was 400,000 yen per year × 20 years for a total of 8 million yen.
There was a sense of security in knowing that "if I keep at it steadily, it will fill up naturally."
That's why I was able to continue silently, without rushing.
But—the new NISA is 18 million yen.
I have to design for myself how to use the installment quota and the growth investment quota.
That "freedom" conversely creates impatience and a competitive spirit.
—Before I knew it, my heart was being swayed by the system.
The psychology of wanting to fill it up—The reversal of ends and means 🔄
On social media, I often see comments like "I've invested XX million yen" or "I'm fully utilizing my growth investment quota."
Even though it's only been a little over a year since the start—
seeing people who are already investing a solid amount makes me feel a bit impatient, thinking, "I need to hurry up too."
Precisely because there is a "clear limit" of 18 million yen,
filling it up itself threatens to become the "goal."
But originally, investment should have been a "means."
A choice to prepare for the future and create peace of mind.
If rushing to invest ends up putting pressure on myself—
then that might already be a "state of being used by the system."
Filling it as fast as possible vs. continuing without strain ⏱️🪴
Filling it as fast as possible is not necessarily the right answer.
Even if you can invest a lot temporarily, it's counterproductive if you struggle afterward.
What's important is whether you can continue at a pace that is comfortable for you.
And that the act of investing itself
remains a "choice" rather than an "obligation."
Choosing for yourself where to invest your capital 🎯
What I value most in investing is—
" where to invest my capital".
It's not about increasing money, but
investing in what I believe in.
That is my future time,
the lives of the people I care about,
and the future of this country as well.
It's not about whether to invest fast or slow.
It's about whether there is any hesitation in "where you invest."
Because I have that "core," I can invest without hesitation.

What is true wealth? 🌱
I've looked at a lot of numbers.
There was a time when I was swayed by the ups and downs of investment returns.
But now, looking back, I think—
**True wealth is the record of "what I have invested my capital in."**
Instead of being swayed by the system,
I want to "use the system for my own life."
Without forgetting that stance, I want to continue investing from here on out.
