Strolling: 'This cherry blossom, probably no one has seen it'

When it comes to spring, it has to be cherry blossoms.

It doesn't stir my heart deeply, but
when this season arrives, it's a presence that somehow catches my attention.

The world is as bustling as ever.
People gather, calling them famous spots or saying they are in full bloom.

I used to be like that too.

But, I suddenly remembered
a small cherry tree blooming in a vacant lot.

Not meant to be shown to anyone,
and not meant to gather anyone.

It just blooms there every year.

Without trying to please,
without making any noise.

I find myself wanting to quietly pay my respects to that natural form.

For this year's photo,
I'll choose this quiet cherry blossom.
