Being in a good mood is the best.
Being in a good mood is the best.
There is not much left of this year; I wonder what kind of year 2025 was.
I ask myself.
I moved to Tokyo in April and went through trial and error, unable to keep up with the new environment and pace.
I worried a lot.
It was a struggle to control my own emotions.
I struggled to adapt to the transition from student to working professional.
In addition, there was my family's illness.
My mother, who is always powerful, had to undergo sudden chemotherapy.
My grandfather, Toshi-chan (90), who is loved by everyone, was given a terminal diagnosis.
The environment surrounding me changed completely, and on top of that, there were repeated treatments for my beloved and important family members.
Two people who cherish the people around them like family.
People who are loved, trusted, and respected by everyone.
I don't want to see the people I care about go through such painful experiences.
I want to be by their side and support them.
I made the decision to find employment back home.
I started job hunting as soon as I returned home.
Thankfully, I received a job offer in my desired field one month later.
While I felt relieved, I also felt a sense of emptiness at letting go of my life in Tokyo.
Even though I decided everything myself.
Until now, I hated leaving things half-finished.
The frustration of quitting a company I had just joined, and returning home to a sense of sadness despite the people who were happy for me.
There were times when I felt those kinds of emotions.
Even so, I have no choice but to move forward.
From here on out, there are all sorts of opportunities depending on me. I'll take it easy.
No matter how much time passes, nothing will start if I keep getting dragged down by things that have happened.
After all, I've gotten sick of my pessimistic self.
There are so many things I don't notice when I'm in the middle of it all, like how narrow my perspective has become. I've been reminded of that once again.
Just keep smiling,
I'll let myself go with the flow of time and shift my mindset toward a new start.
Even if my environment changes, nothing will change unless I change the way I perceive things myself.
I'm excited about the new environment starting next year, and I'm reaffirming what I truly value and what I won't compromise on.
And I feel more grateful than ever to be able to live with my family.
Sitting around the table, talking about all sorts of things, and savoring the happiness.
It really all depends on my way of thinking and how I carry myself.
23 years old, growing one step further.
Right, time to go get a lash lift and go to the hair salon for the first time in a while 💇♀️♩
My recent slow time.
