[Codex] I was surprised when I used it for the first time!

Today's topic is Codex.
I've known about it for a while, but I kept ignoring it, thinking, "It probably doesn't have anything to do with me."
What is code, anyway?
It's something people who build apps use.
It's something people who are tech-savvy use.
I had an image of Codex being for people who build things, so I thought it had nothing to do with me.
I once asked ChatGPT,
"How do you use Codex?"
It explained various things to me, but I still felt it wasn't relevant to me...
Even ChatGPT seemed to imply it was too early for me, so I was convinced (lol).
But recently, I became really curious and opened the Codex screen.
When I opened it, it looked no different from other AI chat screens.
How do I use this?
I thought, and as the regular chat continued, I ended up thinking it really wasn't necessary for me.
In the midst of that, I looked at the plugins, found Google Calendar, and decided to link it.
I've always been putting my work shifts and such into Google Calendar.
Since I don't work the same hours every day, Google Calendar is a lifesaver for letting me know my schedule.
However, entering each appointment one by one every time my shift is decided
takes a surprisingly long time.
So, half-doubting, I sent my shift times and shift schedule to Codex.
Then...
In just about two minutes, it entered the appointments into Google Calendar for me!
I was truly surprised by this 😲
I wondered, "What was all that time I spent doing this manually?"
It was over in a flash.
To be able to enter it so quickly and easily,
I have no choice but to keep using it!
Because of this experience, I've started to think that things I thought "had nothing to do with me"
might actually be useful for my own work and daily life.
This time it was about entering appointments into Google Calendar, but
there must be even more convenient ways to use it.
Even if you think, "It has nothing to do with me,"
you might find some unexpected discoveries if you try it out 👍
