I met the people from the other side of the screen
Last Saturday, I attended an offline meetup for members of the "Magic School to Change Your Life Through Expression" run by Maico, held during the note Creator Fes.
The people I had always seen from the other side of the screen were right there within reach!
Not flat, but three-dimensional.
Some people even came from Hokkaido and Kyushu just for this day!
Everyone had height, width, and depth, and they were moving! (Like a zoo!)
There was no time lag or noise in their voices!
I couldn't attend the main festival during the day, but at the meetup, everyone shared their impressions with me.
Even regarding Mr. Sueyoshi's lecture, everyone had different points that left an impression on them.
It felt like I was participating in the "note Creator Fes" with a time delay.
The atmosphere and the lingering feeling were both wonderful.
As for what we talked about at the meetup...
I've forgotten the details.
But what stays in my memory isn't just the content of the conversation; it's also the person's gestures, the tone of their voice, and the atmosphere that exudes from them, isn't it?
In psychology, this is also mentioned in the "Mehrabian's Rule."
Mehrabian's Rule is a psychological principle stating that in communication, linguistic information (the content of the speech) accounts for 7%, auditory information (tone of voice and manner of speaking) for 38%, and visual information (facial expressions and attitude) for 55% of the impact.
After mixing all of that together and letting it digest for a few days, hints like "That way of thinking is nice" or "Maybe I'll try writing something like that next time" start to bubble up.
(That's my excuse for not writing a report right away.)
Being able to actually meet and talk with people, and enjoying the lingering feeling of it, made for such a precious time.

They even prepared "mini fans" as face-hiding props for those who prefer not to show their faces.
They calmly handled event guidance and headcount checks.
I was deeply moved by the "hospitality spirit" of Maico and all the staff.
I hope you can get some well-deserved rest after the long preparation period and the event itself.
