We invite popular manga artist Chiaki Matsumoto (author of "Diary of a 38-Year-Old Divorced Single Woman Who Tried Matching Apps," etc.) to teach us how she practices portraying 'realistic romance' in her work.How can you create a work that strikes a chord with many people and resonates with them...From finding ideas to methods of expression, she will explain the important aspects of creating a story in an easy-to-understand way, using her own work as examples.Whether you draw manga or are looking to level up your creative skills in general, please join us!
While this event will be streamed online, we are also accepting applications for 30 in-person participants. Manga artist Chiaki Matsumoto made her debut after winning a contest. Won a prize in the 'Comic Essay Grand Prize' held by Gentosha x TV Tokyo x note, and serialized 'Diary of a 38-Year-Old Divorced Single Woman Who Tried Matching Apps' on cakes. Currently serializing 'Tokyo Camouflage Hour' in Shonen Gahosha's Young King.

Creators selected for the Grand Prize and Excellence Awards will discuss book and video adaptations with the partner companies that awarded the prizes (KADOKAWA, Gentosha, Diamond, TV Tokyo).

① Online after-party on the day
Immediately after the main event ends, we will open a Zoom for 30 minutes where participants can interact with each other.
Those who applied via Peatix will also receive information by email at a later date. Let's enjoy ourselves casually while sharing impressions, introducing ourselves, and sharing the works we are creating! (note employees are also scheduled to participate.)
② Online Community
The official note free community, "A Place to Learn About Creation", is a space where people who want to work hard on their creative projects can interact and exchange information.
