You must do XX against unhealthy temptations!
We often think that we fail at dieting or cannot change our lifestyle habits because we have weak willpower.
We are convinced that to change our current life, we must force our body and mind to obey, but that is a difficult task, and that is why most people fail.
Trying to force yourself to do something through willpower is a major source of stress in itself, and toxins of mental stress accumulate more and more.
And those who do not have a healthy way to release stress will try to release it through all sorts of unhealthy methods.
Temptations vary from person to person.
It might be online games, or it might be snacks you shouldn't eat.
It might be drinking too much alcohol, or it might be working too hard.
Some people even run in the direction of obsessing over things they cannot control on their own.
When stress accumulates, you become unable to escape from unhealthy temptations.
Temptation pulls you in every direction, just like a wild horse.
In Sanskrit, an ancient Indian language, indulging in such pleasures is called 'bhoga'.
And when bhoga becomes excessive, it leads to 'roga' (disease).
To break the vicious cycle of bhoga and prevent roga, you need to control your five senses.
What makes that possible is yoga.
When we hear the word yoga, we usually think of exercises where you strike various poses, but yoga is originally a word that means union or integration.
By uniting the mind and body through yoga, you can control your five senses, overcome temptation, and attain a quiet spirit.
If you make it a habit to face your mind and body for just a few minutes every day, you will be able to feel unhealthy temptations and habits disappearing.
