[Day 16] An unexpected SnowMan concert! Learning how to pour 'passion' into something from my mother's enthusiasm.
Yesterday, I wrote about how I refreshed myself by going to a Christmas dinner with my psychology friends.
Today, there was an unexpected turn of events.
I accompanied my mother on her 'oshi-katsu' (fan activities) and went to a SnowMan concert😂
My mother's favorite, SnowMan
My mother is actually a huge fan of SnowMan.
She is just so incredibly happy collecting merchandise of her favorite members and getting concert tickets.
Then, the other day, she invited me, saying, 'Won't you come with me?'
I can't really make any progress on my 'Hair Medication Notebook' project, but...
Well, I thought it would be nice to be a dutiful child for once, so I decided to go along.
The concert venue was incredibly energetic
When we arrived at the venue, there were so many people.
People holding penlights were lined up with excited faces,
and my mother was also in such high spirits 😂
To be honest, I didn't know much about SnowMan,
but seeing my mother's happy face, I thought, 'This is nice.'
When the concert started, I was overwhelmed
When the concert began, I was completely overwhelmed.
The dancing was amazing. The singing was great. The production was spectacular.
And above all,
all the fans looked like they were having so much fun.
Waving glow sticks, calling out, smiling,
Everyone is supporting their favorite idol.
The intensity of that passion was incredible.
The energy of fandom is amazing.
Watching the concert, I suddenly thought.

Supporting what you love. Just that alone is so much fun.
My mother is also forgetting her daily stress and enjoying herself purely.
Having someone you support is truly a wonderful thing.
I realized that once again.
My own 'fandom' activity
And then, I realized.
For me, my 'fandom' activity might be creating the 'Hair Medication Notebook'.
Pouring passion into what you love.
Having people who support you, and working hard for them.
That might be the same as my mother supporting Snow Man.
Today, I couldn't make any progress, but
Honestly, today I couldn't make any progress on the 'Hair Medication Notebook'.
But,
Time spent doing fun things is also important
That's what I was able to think.
If I'm always thinking only about work and projects, I'll get exhausted.
Sometimes, it's necessary to accompany my mother on her 'oshi-katsu' (fan activities) and enjoy the time together.
By doing that, refreshing myself,
I can just do my best again starting tomorrow.

Mom, thank you for inviting me.
I didn't really know SnowMan, but it was incredibly fun😂
And, I realized once again the wonder of 'oshi-katsu'.
I will also do my best with my own 'oshi-katsu',
which is my 'Hair Medicine Notebook'.
I will continue moving forward with it starting tomorrow.
