Today's Desk | March 12, 2026 | Is it less noticeable to hide a mini PC behind the monitor?
Hello, good morning, good afternoon, or good evening.
I'm Emu, representative of messy desks🙋
Bringing you a casual look at today's desk setup😉

Stand: Belmond
Monitor: LG 29-inch Ultrawide
✅DELL OptiPlex Series
I am currently using the 3050 micro.
If you are planning to buy one, a model in the 5000 to 7000 series
equipped with a 12th generation CPU might be better.
The interface is also newer and nice.
✅Belmond PC Stand
I reused a stand I had lying around at home.
Even though it's a mini PC, it was a tight fit...
A single-unit stand is better for saving space.
✅LG 29-inch Ultrawide Monitor
A relatively cost-effective ultrawide monitor.
I've managed to use it for over 7,000 hours so far.
(The link is for the current model)
It seems the PS5 will also support a 21:9 aspect ratio,
so I'm looking forward to my future gaming life.
Even better is the Xiaomi monitor.
(I checked it out at the Xiaomi Store)
📍The key is to hide the PC behind the monitor

Until now, I had it stored on a desk shelf.
I moved it behind the ultrawide monitor.
By minimizing the gap between the desk shelf and the monitor,
I can make it disappear.
However, be careful, as some models
won't let you operate the monitor's settings buttons...

In the freed-up space, I placed
a mobile monitor or an iPad.
I was able to store the gadgets on my desk
and keep everything compact.

I am taking on a project to transform them over the course of a year!
