My beloved dog, Lemon, has passed away.
She was 19 years and 10 months old.

She was peaceful at the end.

I've been crying my eyes out...
My eyes hurt from crying so much.

I've been busy for the past few days preparing for the funeral and such. It's very sad, but I realized that preparing for the farewell is a necessary time for processing my emotions. If I hadn't done anything, I think I would have just collapsed in tears. I've regained some composure now. (I think writing this article is also a part of that process.) I think the feeling of loneliness is greater than the sadness right now.

I am going to say my final goodbye today.

I decided to dress her in her favorite clothes and send her off with her food, treats, Churu, and family photos for her journey.

Eat a little bit at a time, okay?

After the cremation, I will place her remains in an urn.
And in a memorial pendant, too.

Lemon, thank you so much.
It's just a temporary farewell!

You can come back and haunt me if you want, you know?

To everyone who has taken care of us for so long, everyone who became a fan of Lemon, those who sent flowers, and those who supported us, I am truly grateful.

For the past few days, I only had scheduled posts and just checked the comments. I'm sorry for my lack of reaction. I will check them again later, so please give me some time.
