Extra Edition | My Personal Way of Using Apple Watch
Hello!
It's emiðð
This time it's a bit of an extra edition.
Since I replaced my Apple Watch along with my iPhone, I'd like to introduce it and share how I use it dailyðœð
For those who have an Apple Watch but wonder how to use it?
Or those who want one but wonder if it's useful?
If you're thinking that, please be sure to read onððŒââïžð
âŒToday's topics are here
1. What led me to start using an Apple Watch
2. Choosing the Apple Watch specs
3. How to use an Apple Watch to master working two jobs
4. How to use it when accompanying a spouse on an overseas assignment?
I will be presenting these four topicsððŒââïžð
1. What led me to start using an Apple Watch
I was originally a nurse, and (I wonder if many nurses are using them lately?âºïžâïž), so I had a strong feeling that a watch should be cheap and washable.
After I got married and became pregnant, I started moving at my own pace more oftenððŒââïžð
At the same time, situations increased where I had to ask my husband things like, "The child is feeling unwell" or "Please buy this on your way home."
In those moments, if my hands were full with holding the baby, I couldn't get in touchð¥¹ð¥
I thought it was inconvenient.
It seems my husband was thinking the same thingð±ðŒââïžð
ð±ðŒââïž"I go to work wondering if you're feeling unwell, and I'm worried about how things are, so if you don't mind, I'd like you to wear one."
(He's a very skilled salesman when it comes to phrasing things like this, haha)
And so, I purchased my first Apple WatchâïžË-
I've heard that the rate of moms using Apple Watches is high, and I think it fits well for people in this situation who are busy and want to reply as soon as possible, those who want to quickly check messages, or those who don't want their watch time to be offâ
2. Choosing the Apple Watch specs
The Apple Watch I first purchased was
the "Apple Watch SE" first generation,
Space Black, 44mm.

My husband is a typical"bigger is better"kind of personðð Haha
You can't go wrong if you buy the big one!
Let's go with black in case we borrow and lend it!
And that's how we made this choiceðªð»ð¥
As a result, I gave this to my husband, so I think it's fine, but I feel it might have been too big for my skinny wrists, haha.
This is what I bought this time â

I thought I didn't need a large watch face, and I also thought a whitish color would be better to match the colors of my clothes, so I chose a whitish color called "Starlight" âºïžð

Now, I will explain the specs of the Apple Watch â
First, the Apple Watch SE 1st Generation âïžð€
â åºæ¬çãªå¥åº·ç®¡ç
ãå¿ææ°æ€ç¥ãå¿ææ°éç¥ã転åæ€åº
â¡ã¯ãŒã¯ã¢ãŠãèšé²
â¢Suicaã»Apple Payãªã©
The Apple Watch SE 3 I bought this time looks like this â
â åºæ¬çãªå¥åº·ç®¡çã®ã¢ããããŒã
ãå¿ææ°æ€ç¥ãéç¥ã«å ããŠäœæž©ã»ã³ãµãŒæèŒ
â¡ã¯ãŒã¯ã¢ãŠãèšé²ã®æ§èœåäž
â¢Suicaãªã©ã¯æ©èœç¶æ
ãThe changes are
âïž Improved operability
âïž Battery life increased by 2 hours
âïž Continuous screen display setting is possible
These are probably the biggest ones âºïžð€²
It's true that the 3rd generation SE is much faster than the previous model, and what I was happiest about was the always-on display â
Being able to set your favorite image as the wallpaper is also great ðð

So, what can't it do compared to the regular non-SE models?
â æäœæ§ããããã¯ãã«
â¡åžžæç¹ç¯ãããæãã
â¢SpO2ã枬å®å¯èœ
â£äœæž©&ç¡ç ã¢ããã³ã¹ãããå®å®(åºç€äœæž©æž¬ããããã)
â€çŽ æã«ãã¿ã³ããã
These are the things, but I've only ever used the SE and I haven't had any particular problems ð€ð
I don't think I need to monitor SpO2 all the time, and if I need to measure basal body temperature, I think it's more reliable to use a basal thermometer.
I do envy that the always-on display is bright ð»âš
Also, I think it's suitable for people who want to keep detailed records of their sports.
I think you should choose according to your needs, but if it's your first time using one, I think the SE is fine ðð
3. How to use Apple Watch to master double-working
I've been working two jobs for nearly three years now, and it goes without saying that the Apple Watch has increased my productivity âºïž
Being able to choose whether or not to look at notifications that come in while working
is really great for me ððŒââïžâïž
You can choose whether or not to mark notifications as read, so if you don't, you can check them later on your PC.
If it's a silly LINE message from my husband, (lol)
You can also reply by voice or react with a single tap to say "Understood" âºïžðªð»
Thanks to this, I've been certified as someone who always responds quickly, which is helpful â
However, when the notifications are coming in fast and it's overwhelming, I take it off, and during important meetings, I intentionally turn off notifications too ðŒð«¶
Another thing that's helpful is
the watch vibration acting as an alarm
I sometimes take a nap when I can't focus, and I can wake up almost certainly ð€©ð Highly recommended
Also, I'm a short sleeper, but... it even sends me a warning notification if I haven't gotten enough sleep.
I don't pay attention to it myself when I'm busy, so I'm grateful for that ðïžð
And what I use almost every week isSuicaI suppose.
When I bought it, my child was still a baby, but I was so grateful to be able to pass through the ticket gate while holding them ð¥¹ð€²
I only have Apple Pay linked to my iPhone, but you can also use it for payments â
It's a feature that I think is most appreciated by moms ððŒââïžð«
However, once you link Suica to your Apple Watch, you won't be able to pass through with your iPhone if the battery dies, so it might be safer to create two cards, one for your iPhone.
Oh, and when my child was small, I used to put things like baby food times into "PiyoLog." That was also helpful.

Oh, by the way, you can also put airplane e-tickets into the Watch wallet, so you can pass through the gate too. That's also quietly recommended âºïžâš
4. How will I use it when I accompany my spouse on an overseas assignment?
Since there will be a time difference when I go there, I think I'll have to think about notifications.
(I do this now too, but I turn them OFF from 10 PM to 5 AM local time)
Also, I'll probably use public transportation, and there will be more situations where I use credit cards, so I'm thinking, should I link Apple Pay? ðð°
Also, I'll likely be going to the gym, so I want to work hard on exercise too! (I'll make that my resolution, lol)
I haven't posted the destination of my assignment in the free articles, so I'll declare here that I'll post photos of where I go to the gym and such later ðð· lol

Finally, I'll list the bands, covers, and films hereâ
Band:
Cover:

(I'm pretty sure this is it. It's essential because I bump the corners quite often)
Film:
https://www.biccamera.com/bc/item/13577325/
Since films are consumables, it's recommended to buy cheap ones and replace them. Make sure to wipe the screen clean before applying itðð
Let's enjoy the convenience that only an Apple Watch can provide and do some great work â€ïž

Thank you for reading until the end!
