≪コラム/Column≫ 自然を想う新世紀芸術、第30回平泉展へ出展しました。I Exhibited My Work at the 30th Hiraizumi Exhibition: New Century Art Reflecting on Nature

特定非営利活動法人平泉会主催の、毎年恒例となっている展覧会「平泉展」。
その節目となる第30回平泉展に、今年も作品を展示する機会をいただきました。

平泉展は、国立新美術館が新設された2008年に第20回展を開催して以来、今年で19年目を迎えます。
自然を愛し、音楽を愛し、そして手作りの作品――平面・立体を問わず――を通して表現することを大切にしながら、
「つくること」を通じた人間形成や心身の健やかさを目指してきた展覧会です。
子どもから大人まで、年齢や経験を越えて楽しめる場として、毎年多くの人が集います。

私自身、平泉展のもつ穏やかで開かれた空気に、いつも背中を押されてきました。
昨年の第29回平泉展では、『樹が見る夢』という作品を出展し、自然の内側に流れる時間や、静かな意識に耳を澄ますような表現を試みました。

そして今年、第30回の節目となる平泉展に出展した作品のタイトルは、『窓辺に想う』です。

窓辺という、内と外がやわらかく交わる場所。
そこに立ち、光や気配、移ろう時間を感じながら浮かび上がってくる想いを、ひとつのかたちとして留めました。
鑑賞される方それぞれの記憶や感情と、静かに重なっていくような作品になればと願っています。

The Hiraizumi Exhibition is an annual art exhibition organized by the nonprofit organization Hiraizumikai.
This year, I had the opportunity to exhibit my work at the 30th Hiraizumi Exhibition, a meaningful milestone for the event.
Since its 20th exhibition in 2008—the year the National Art Center, Tokyo opened—the Hiraizumi Exhibition has continued for 19 years.
Centered on a love of nature and music, it values creative expression through handmade works, both two- and three-dimensional, and aims to support personal growth and well-being through the act of making.
It is an open and welcoming space enjoyed by people of all ages.
Last year, at the 29th exhibition, I presented a work titled  A Tree’s Dream, exploring the quiet flow of time within nature.
This year’s exhibited work is titled Thoughts by the Window.
A window is a place where inside and outside gently meet.
By sensing light, presence, and passing time, I shaped the thoughts that emerged into a single form, hoping the work will quietly resonate with each viewer’s own memories and emotions.

今年、出展した作品のタイトルは
『窓辺に想う』です。
The title of the work I exhibited this year is Thoughts by the Window.

“Thoughts by the Window”
The color of the frame was chosen to feel like an extension of the window itself.

絵画の他、陶芸、工芸、様々な手作り作品が
観られます。
In addition to paintings, the exhibition features ceramics, crafts, and a wide variety of handmade works.
