Nice to meet you, I am a clinical laboratory technician working in psychiatry - To you who are living in the present -
Hello everyone, nice to meet you.
I am a clinical laboratory technician working at a psychiatric hospital.
Ever since I graduated from graduate school, I have been dedicated solely to psychiatry.
"Isn't psychiatry a bit scary?"
"What are the patients like?"
"Are tests even necessary?"
Many people might have such questions.
However, it is precisely because it is psychiatry that testing is necessary.
And here, I sometimes touch upon the "core of the human heart,"
the raw, original state of a human being.
What is questioned there is,
"How do I face patients as my true, unadorned self?".
It is "mental healthcare" where there is no room for deception.
It is also a place to face one's own heart.
What I will be posting from now on is the diary I have been writing since I started my job.
It chronicles my feelings born from interactions with my superiors, doctors, and surrounding staff.
Through my "record of emotional growth,"
students interested in the profession of clinical laboratory technician
those who feel that "living is difficult"
those who are currently struggling
those who are feeling stuck in their work
I hope this will serve as a small cheer for such people.
Furthermore, at the end, I also include tips to make daily life easier to live. It is content where,
just by reading, you can grasp small tips for organizing your mind and taking action.
I would be happy if my slightly eccentric actions and
the interactions with patients that make you chuckle
could loosen your heart even just a little.
I would be grateful if you could read this with the feeling of taking a relaxing break with coffee and sweets.
I look forward to working with you from now on.
