議員の抽選

引続き、マイケル・サンデル氏の提案・考えをご紹介致します。

なんと、議員を抽選で選出しようという大胆な発想です。
(Random selection of legislators)

Sandel explores the idea of using random selection to choose legislators.  This concept aims to create a more representaive and equitable political system by reducing biases and ensuring that a diverse range of voices and perspectives are included in the decision-making process.

explore = 調査する
random = 無作為の ( 筋違いですが、ransome : 身代金 と似た語彙です)
legislator = 立法府の議員
biase = 偏見
ensure = 確実にする
diverse = 多様な
range = 範囲
 
この様な発想の背景には、”極端に片寄ってしまっている現実” があるのでしょう。

一部の裁判員を民間から無作為に選ぶ制度もあるので、それほど乱暴な考えではないのでしょう。
